The show's two biggest stars were spotted together in character while filming in New York City on June 2.
Filming for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 continues at an unstoppable pace in New York City, with production now entering its eighth consecutive week. While Week 7 was unusually quiet when it came to photos from the set, Week 8 (thankfully) is already off to a strong start with brand-new pics that tease an unexpected alliance.

Earlier today, Michael C. Hall was spotted filming exterior scenes somewhere in New York City alongside Uma Thurman. The photos, once again captured and shared by Bauer-Griffin, show the two actors both in character and between takes during what actually appears to be a very interesting scene. In fact, these latest images further support the theory that Dexter Morgan and Charley Brown could be forming a partnership in Season 2.
The possibility was already hinted at in previous set photos, although those images appeared to suggest a romantic dinner and little else. These brand-new photos from the June 2 set, however, take things a step further. Dexter and Charley seem to have moved beyond their troubled history and may now be working together as allies.
In the new images, Dexter Morgan and Charley Brown appear to be carrying out some kind of mission. Uma Thurman's character is dressed entirely in black and is once again wearing the same sunglasses seen throughout Season 1, something that is enough to make the scene special and also purposefull.
At first, the pair were actually seen standing beside a parked black car, which could potentially belong to Charley. The presence of a camera operator filming directly in front of them suggests the cameras were actively rolling, with Hall and Thurman fully in character.
The main focus of the scene, however, appears to be the entrance of a nearby house. Both Dexter and Charley were photographed entering and exiting a green door at a building marked with the number 67. At this point, it's impossible to know who lives there, but if these characters are indeed working together, the most likely theory is that they are tracking a serial killer or investigating a potential target.
Based on everything we've actually seen throughout the first eight weeks of filming, Dexter and Charley seem to be getting along surprisingly well. That's a complete 180 from the dynamic we became accustomed to, especially during the final episodes of Season 1. It is definitely something refreshing, that opens the door to many exciting possibilities for Season 2.
The romance angle still is particularly interesting. Set photos from Week 6 appeared to show Dexter and Charley sharing an intimate dinner, complete with wine and hand-holding. These latest images may reveal the other side of their evolving relationship, which is not just romance, but a genuine alliance.
