The Dexter: New Blood Title Sequence Will Be 'Very Different' Compared To The Original And Fans Aren't Happy

During the virtual summer Television Critics Association press tour last Tuesday, showrunner Clyde Phillips didn't explicitly confirm or deny if there will be a title sequence on Dexter: New Blood, but given the new direction and tone, he revealed that it will be very different than before.

So, it is official. Dexter will re-unite with Harrison in the new season. During Tuesday's TCA 2021 press tour, Showtime decided to post a behind-the-scenes image on their Twitter account showing Jack Alcott and Michael C. Hall together between takes. It was followed by the caption "Harrison, is that you?" #Dexter".

This wasn't a surprise to DexterDaily's readers though, as we exclusively revealed it first, two months ago. Dexter and Rita's son is now a teenager (13 to 14 years old) and he's portrayed by Jack Alcott, a talented and promising young actor in his early 20s. What's your opinion on the casting choice? “Dexter is a jewel in the crown of Showtime and we didn’t do it justice in the end. That has always been a burr under my saddle,” Gary Levine said during the Showtime TCA executive panel. “We’ve always wanted to see if there was a way to do it right and it took a long time to figure out what that was. It took a long time for Michael to be willing to revisit the role. We’re thrilled to get Clyde Phillips back. We finally got to a place that I just can’t wait to show the world.”

Back in late June, when Phil Williams of Times Radio asked Michael if there will be more episodes or seasons for Dexter, he replied: "I'm going to say... maybe." Well, in the interview you're about to read, he avoided to respond to a similar question.

Rita notices unusual behavior from Dexter and she urges him to join a treatment program for addicts. He meets Lila, she becomes his sponsor, and then carries on an affair with her. Meanwhile, Debra who's still traumatized, dates FBI agent Frank Lundy who came to Miami in order to help find the Bay Harbor Butcher. Sergeant James Doakes finds out Dexter is a serial killer.

Daniel Licht, composer for the amazing Dexter soundtrack, and a handful of franchise horror movies and video games died four years ago, on August 2, 2017.

He was best known for scoring all eight seasons of Dexter, using unconventional abstract instruments such as surgical tools, bones, theremin, knives, duct tape, wine glasses, saws, and scissors to make the show's sounds resonate with viewers.

‘John And The Hole’ Starring Michael C. Hall - Watch The Trailer

 Michael C. Hall's latest movie was filmed in late 2019 in Massachusetts.

Directed by Pascual Sisto and written by Nicolás Giacobone. Starring Michael C. Hall, Charlie Shotwell, Jennifer Ehle, and Taissa Farmiga.

The movie revolves around a boy who discovers a hole in his family's backyard. It was selected for the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and had its world premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival last January. It was released on August 6, 2021, by IFC Films.

John Lithgow Joins Martin Scorsese Apple Original Film ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’

Dexter Season 4 special guest star lands a new movie role.

John Lithgow, who will briefly appear in the upcoming season of Dexter: New Blood as the Trinity Killer, joins Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in a new film named 'Killers of the Flower Moon' which Martin Scorsese is directing. Lithgow will play 'Prosecutor Leaward'.

Set in 1920s Oklahoma, 'Killers of the Flower Moon' based on the David Grann best-seller, depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror.

The short story adaptation, which premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, revolves around a boy, the titular John, who puts his family in a hole in the ground in their backyard. Michael plays John's father.

Two weeks after he wrapped filming for Dexter: New Blood, Clancy Brown lands another role, this time for a film. According to Deadline, Brown will star opposite Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane in John Wick: Chapter 4.

Director Chad Stahelski said: “I have been a fan of Clancy Brown’s since I can remember. To have him be a part of this project is an honor. He will make a perfect addition to the World of John Wick!”

John Wick: Chapter 4 production is already underway in France, Germany, and Japan, and it will hit theaters on Memorial Day weekend, May 27, 2022.
