Krysten Ritter Officially Returning as Lady Vengeance in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2

It's now official, Dexter fans: Krysten Ritter is back for the highly anticipated second season of Dexter: Resurrection.

Looks like Krysten Ritter isn't done with Dexter: Resurrection just yet. The actress has officially been confirmed to return for Season 2 of the series.

The confirmation came through an exclusive report from Deadline, which Ritter also shared on her Instagram account, creating excitement among fans and her followers. The news comes after months of speculation about the true fate of Mia Lapierre, also known as Lady Vengeance, in Dexter: Resurrection.

In Episode 6 of Season 1, Lady Vengeance was found dead in her prison cell. However, many viewers believed she had faked her death with the help of Charley, played by Uma Thurman. In the months that followed, even Ritter herself hinted that her character might not actually be dead.

As for the size of her role, it has been confirmed that Ritter will return in a guest-starring capacity.

Dexter first met Mia after he infiltrated Leon Prater's private serial killer club at his NYC penthouse and had to keep up his cover while secretly planning to take its members down one by one.

Mia was among the special guests. A well-known sommelier, she seemed to understand Dexter better than most. It didn't take long for them to connect over their personal struggles, but Dex's refusal to reveal who he really was created tension in their growing... "friendship."

Now that Lady Vengeance's return is official, it will be interesting to see how the series explains her survival and what role she will actually play in the story moving forward.
