New Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Set Photos Reveal Clues About Episode 2 Story

Let’s take a closer look at new, spoilery images from the Dexter: Resurrection set, captured on 4/16.

Filming for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is moving at a steady pace, with cameras rolling for a fifth consecutive day in New York City. Thanks to the city’s amazing weather, production has been running smoothly, something that gives the cast and crew a boost as they continue to deliver the best possible result. On April 16, the fourth day of filming, action focused to exterior scenes across Manhattan.

As expected, several new set photos surfaced through well-known New York photo agencies, something that actually continues to happen with the approval of both the production team and Paramount. These latest images are surprisingly revealing, giving some key hints about the storyline unfolding in Episode 2 which is written by Scott Buck.

Even though filming has only just begun and only a portion of Episode 1 has been completed, production schedules have already pushed the team into shooting some scenes from Episode 2. Director Marcos Siega, who is helming the first two episodes, was present on set alongside key creatives like Scott Reynolds and Clyde Phillips.

So what does this actually mean for the story, and which characters are involved?

If you’re trying to avoid spoilers for the early episodes of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, now might be the time to stop reading. The latest set photos, combined with the actors spotted together, definitely give away some major clues about what’s coming next.

So... the images feature Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan alongside Brian Cox as Don Framt, also known as the New York Ripper. Their presence together on set actually suggests that by Episode 2 Dexter has already managed to track down the elusive serial killer who has terrorized New York City for decades.

As you will scroll through the photos below, you’ll notice Dexter closely observing Don Framt, who, as previously revealed, is disabled and uses an electric wheelchair. In one sequence, Dexter is seen stepping out of his parked car and tailing the Ripper on foot. The trail leads to a strip club, despite it being morning or midday.

The club, labeled “World Famous Hustler Club,” appears to be a fictional location created specifically for the series, with both its signage and parts of the interior actually designed just for the show. In the scene, Don Framt is seen interacting with a young stripper just outside the venue.

While Michael C. Hall and Brian Cox are spotted together in several photos, their interactions seem to take place between takes rather than in character. This could actually indicate that their characters have not yet directly crossed paths within the story or at least not at this point.
