We’re now in the second week of filming for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, and so far there have been plenty of chances for fans to land background roles. But these latest casting calls are a bit different, and honestly, a lot more exciting.
The biggest thing to know is timing. Anyone interested only has a very small window to apply, as the scenes in question are scheduled to film this Friday, April 24. That alone actually makes this opportunity a little more urgent than usual.
On top of that, the casting is specifically open to non-union performers, which means everyday fans, people without industry experience, have a real shot at being selected.
So... what kind of roles are they looking to fill?
The casting includes a wide range of background parts, such as Police Administration staff, Undercover Officers, and Plainclothes Detectives, all open to individuals aged 25–55 of any gender. There are also roles for female suspects and criminals aged 18 and over.
