The cast of the prequel filmed through the night, working until the early morning hours.
It was a long day on the set of Dexter: Original Sin. The cast of the highly anticipated prequel, set to debut this December, was filming scenes for what appears to be the fifth episode of the first season, working until sunrise.
On Friday, Alex Shimizu, the young actor portraying 20-year-old Vince Masuka in Dexter: Original Sin, shared the above image on his Instagram account. The photo features him alongside Christina Milian (LaGuerta) and Patrick Gibson (Dexter) behind the scenes. It's unclear if the outfits they're wearing are for the scene they were shooting, as they look rather modern.
Both Milian and Shimizu took to Instagram to share several behind-the-scenes photos from last night's filming location in Los Angeles. Filming wrapped just a few hours ago, and you can catch a glimpse below.
Given that Masuka and LaGuerta were shooting a night scene together, it’s likely related to a crime scene. As seen in the images below, the lighting used during the night scenes is designed to mimic bright moonlight, making the scenes more visible to the audience.
