Uma Thurman Channels Michael C. Hall's Original Dexter Poster Pose

During her recent visit to the Dexter 20th anniversary museum, the famous actress took the opportunity to recreate the OG series' very first poster.

As the promotion for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 continues, the first few days of October turned out to be among the most exciting yet for Dexter fans.

Two major events took place back to back on October 8 and 9, bringing together cast members and creative minds. And among them was Uma Thurman, who has actually become an increasingly prominent part of the show's promotional campaign.

Her involvement in these events has also been a welcome sign for fans, especially with the possibility of Charley having a bigger role in the upcoming season.

But during the recent Dexter 20th anniversary celebrations, Thurman gave fans another reason to talk about her, thanks to a fun photo opportunity that paid tribute to the show's very first poster.

Uma Thurman (Sort of) Recreates Dexter's Iconic Season 1 Poster

The anniversary celebrations featured many Dexter-related decorations and memorabilia, including a backdrop displaying the iconic poster from the OG series. First released in 2006, the poster has actually become one of the most recognizable images in the francise, showing Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan leaning his head against a hand belonging to a corpse.

For Thurman, the giant poster was simply... too good an opportunity to pass up! Looking stunning at the anniversary party, the actress posed right next to it and imitated Dexter's iconic posture, recreating the image in her own way.

It is actually a fun little moment, but also even more cool to see given Thurman's status as one of the major stars of Dexter: Resurrection.

From Kill Bill to Dexter: Resurrection

Back when Dexter first premiered in the fall of 2006, Thurman was already a major name in Hollywood. She had just starred in Quentin Tarantino's two-part Kill Bill saga, with Kill Bill arriving in 2003 and Kill Bill: Volume 2 following in 2004.

At the time, it would have been difficult (if not crazy) to imagine that, two decades later, Thurman would become part of the "Dexterverse," sharing the screen with Michael C. Hall in a prominent role. Now, seeing her recreate one of the most iconic promo images is a pretty cool way to mark the show's 20th anniversary.

We actually overlooked this particular photo in the gallery Paramount+ sent us at Dexter Daily a few days ago, so it was great to come across it. And honestly, seeing Uma Thurman channel Dexter Morgan's original poster pose is something definitely worth sharing with fans!
