The first sneak-peek clips from an actual episode of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 have surfaced, and they're very intriguing.

Halloween Eve is going to be a big day for Dexter fans as our favorite antihero returns for the second season of Dexter: Resurrection. So far, Paramount+ and various cast interviews have given us plenty of hints about what to expect from the next chapter, but it looks like there is still more to come.

Not one, but two brand-new sneak peek clips from an upcoming episode of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 made a brief appearance during Jack Alcott’s interview on Canada’s CTV This Morning on October 15. Although the footage was shown only for a few seconds, there is actually enough to make out what is happening in both scenes.

Before breaking down the two clips, let’s take a quick look at what Alcott had to say about Harrison’s journey in the upcoming season and his experience working alongside Michael C. Hall.

Jack Alcott Opens Up About Harrison’s Journey in Season 2

During the five-minute interview, Alcott discussed how much Harrison has changed throughout the franchise and what fans can expect from him in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2.

“We get a really different version of Harrison. I feel like we've gotten to see a different iteration of him in New Blood. And then last season of Resurrection, we get like a really, really angry kid in New Blood. And then we get a kid who's slightly less angry and trying to put his life together,” the actor explained.

Alcott actually confirmed that the story moves forward in time, meaning we won't get to see Harrison's college years: “And then we get a little time jump. I think we've moved forward like three years. So we skip Harrison in college,” he added.

Alcott also had nothing but good things to say about working with Michael C. Hall for a third year, praising his co-star for being both a supportive friend and a mentor.

“He's a phenomenal friend and just a brilliant mentor. He's someone that when I came into the show, it was my first sort of larger role. And I think he saw a really terrified kid who needed help and was there. And we've maintained that as well.”

The actor went on to explain that Hall has always been there whenever he has needed advice, describing him as an incredilby generous performer and someone who has consistently supported him throughout his time on the show.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Sneak Peek Clip #1 Breakdown

The first clip appears at around the 1:16 mark of the interview video below and seems to show Harrison Morgan on what could be his first day as an NYPD officer.

In the brief scene, Harrison appears to arrive at work with a box of donuts for his new colleagues. However, things don't quite go as planned. As he actually steps out of the elevator, people passing by begin helping themselves to the donuts, leaving Harrison to watch as his attempt to make a good first impression turns into a rather funny moment!

The scene also appears to be a playful nod to the original Dexter series, in which Dex regularly brought donuts to his colleagues at Miami Metro. This time around, however, it's Harrison who is trying to fit in with his new co-workers.

There is also a familiar track in the background. The song playing during the scene appears to be “Movin' on Up” by Primal Scream, making the scene even more fun and exciting

Watch the interview below, and keep an eye out for the clip.

The second clip is slightly longer and arguably even more intriguing. This time, we get a glimpse of Dexter and Harrison enjoying breakfast together at a New York City diner before their meal is interrupted by Charley Brown, played by Uma Thurman.

The most interesting part of the scene is Dexter's reaction when he sees Charley for the first time in years. Almost instinctively, he grabs the knife sitting on the table, seemingly preparing for a potential threat.

Charley notices his reaction and tries to calm him down: “Be cool, I'm not a threat,” she tells him, just as the clip comes to an end. Dexter's response is actually normal if we consider where things stand between the two characters when they meet again.

Hopefully, we'll get to see more of these scenes soon, or perhaps even a longer, clearer version of the footage. With the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 just around the corner, the promotional campaign is heating up, and these two brief clips give another exciting glimpse of what's coming next.
