The 22nd week of production has officially come to an end, and it looks like for some of the show's stars, this was their final week of filming for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2. And surprisingly, two of the actors who have already finished filming are among the show's most important stars: Jack Alcott and Kadia Saraf.

The actors behind Harrison Morgan and Detective Claudette Wallace have now filmed every scene involving their respective characters. After a short break, both actors will soon be turning their attention toward the show's long marketing campaign, which is expected to peak in October ahead of the Season 2 premiere.

Saraf took to Instagram on September 11 to share a selfie with her co-star Jack Alcott from inside what appears to be a production minivan, likely transporting the actors between filming locations across New York City.

The two looked relieved to have reached the finish line, but also excited for fans to finally see the result of all their hard work.

"Aaaaand that's a season wrap for us!" Saraf wrote.

We actually know what some of you might be thinking. Since two major stars have already finished filming before the official production wrap date, could that be bad news for their characters? Could one of them be killed off?

Well... fortunately, there's no reason to jump to that conclusion.

In fact, this scheduling is quite similar to what happened with Dexter: Resurrection Season 1. Last year, production officially wrapped in mid-June, but several actors, including Alcott, finished filming earlier than the official production end date.

So, wrapping early does not necessarily mean anything about the fate of a character.

At this point, we still don't know the exact filming status of the other main cast members and special guest stars in Season 2. During the 21st week of production, the show filmed for two consecutive days in Times Square, and it definitely looked like those could have been the final filming days for Uma Thurman and David Zayas as well.

That was actually based on some BTS photos showing the two actors happily posing alongside key members of the production crew, which (most of the times) is a sign that an actor has completed their work on a project.

With the 23rd and final week of filming about to begin, all signs point toward Michael C. Hall once again being among the very last actors to film his scenes, and that would not come as a surprise. And with production now entering its final week, we're getting closer than ever to seeing what the entire Season 2 team has been working on for the past 5+ months.
