That's a wrap for the second season of Dexter: Resurrection, as September 18 marked the final day of production, and crew members shared photos from the set.

Friday, September 18 was a very significant day for the cast and crew of Dexter: Resurrection. After 23 weeks, or 158 days of production, filming for Season 2 officially came to an end.
The long days of work for the cast and everyone behind the cameras are finally over. There appears to be a big sense of relief and excitement among those involved as they can now look ahead to the release of the new season.
For the second year in a row, production took place across both interior and exterior locations throughout New York City. Over the past few months, the cast and crew have been spotted filming in some of the city's most recognizable locations.
Among those who actually shared a few words about the final day of shooting was director Marcos Siega, who, just like on Dexter: New Blood and Dexter: Resurrection Season 1, directed six of the season's ten episodes.
Siega took to Instagram to officially announce the end of production, sharing his excitement about completing another season and getting the finished episodes in front of audiences:
"I feel blessed to be working with such incredible people. Thanks for another amazing season."
The post was also accompanied by some behind-the-scenes photos featuring familiar faces from Dexter: Resurrection.
One of the photos featured Siega alongside Michael C. Hall and Desmond Harrington, who is officially returning as Joey Quinn and this time as a series regular. Another selfie showed Siega alongside the two masterminds behind Dexter: Resurrection, showrunner Clyde Phillips and executive producer and writer Scott Reynolds. All three were seen smiling as they celebrated the completion of their work on Season 2.
Interestingly, the photos appear to have been taken at an indoor location that actually looks very much like a soundstage. That could suggest the final day of filming took place at the Sunset Pier 94 Studios, which has been the main location for most of the interior scenes.
That's interesting because, even though the series spent much of its final weeks filming at major locations across New York City, including some very recognizable spots, the production appears to have finished its final scenes indoors. After 23 weeks of filming, the cameras are now officially down, bringing Season 2's production to a close.
So... What Happens Next for the Dexter: Resurrection Cast and Crew?
The work is not completely over just yet for a few members of the cast and crew. With Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 set to premiere on October 30, the marketing campaign is expected to ramp up considerably in the weeks ahead. That means Clyde Phillips, Scott Reynolds, Michael C. Hall and many of the returning cast members will likely have plenty more work to do before the new season finally arrives.
But before all of that begins, the cast and crew have one more reason to celebrate.
Keeping the tradition from last year, a Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 wrap party is taking place in New York City on Saturday, September 19, just one day after filming officially ended. Many cast and crew members are expected to come together to celebrate the completion of another season before the countdown to October 30 actually begins.
