Chris Jericho Confirms He'll Appear in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2

The AEW and WWE champion recently opened up about his involvement in the upcoming season.

Cameras are still rolling on Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, and the set photos that have surfaced online over the past few weeks have already revealed one major surprise. That wrestling legend Chris Jericho is joining the series.

The inaugural AEW World Champion was spotted at some point during the first month of production alongside Michael C. Hall, filming what appeared to be some very revealing nighttime scenes. The photos were captured by New York City paparazzi photographer Jose Perez, who has been behind nearly all of the set images from Season 2 so far.

While Jericho's involvement seemed pretty obvious after the photos surfaced, neither the actor himself nor anyone connected to Dexter: Resurrection had officially confirmed his casting.

That has now changed.

During a recent interview with All Elite Wrestling, Jericho confirmed that he has a role in the highly anticipated second season.

"I was just on Dexter. That was kind of released by the paparazzi on the streets of New York City. That's coming up."

Jericho didn't reveal any details about his character, even though the set photos may already offer some important clues about the nature of his role. The exact character he's playing and other key details remain under wraps, due to contract restrictions.

Based on Jericho's comments, it seems his appearance in Dexter: Resurrection was originally meant to be a surprise before the paparazzi photos from April 29 spoiled the reveal.

Now, the big question is what character he'll play and what sort of chemistry he'll have with Michael C. Hall on screen. For that, we will have to wait a little longer to find out, as Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is set to premiere this fall.
