Dexter: Resurrection's Full 2026 Emmy Campaign Revealed: 13 Cast Submissions, 19 Categories

The series' first season is making a major push for Emmy recognition, proving Paramount's confidence in its awards potential.

The Emmy season is officially underway, and Paramount+ with Showtime appears to have high hopes for Dexter: Resurrection. The show's first season has been widely praised by both critics and audiences, and the network is actually making that confidence obvious with an extensive Emmy campaign.

The full list of submissions has now been revealed, and the number of actors being considered is particularly impressive. Thirteen actors have been submitted for Emmy consideration across five acting categories.

The list includes big Hollywood names such as Uma Thurman and Peter Dinklage, along with some other cast members from the series. Beyond the acting races, Dexter: Resurrection has also been submitted in 14 Creative Arts Emmy categories.

One thing becomes clear from the long list of submissions is that Paramount is taking Dexter: Resurrection very seriously. That's encouraging news, as it shows the company understands the value and importance of the Dexter franchise.

After many years, and especially after Dexter: Original Sin skipped Emmy campaigning altogether, it's definitely refreshing to see the Dexter receiving this level of support from the network.

Back in mid-May, Paramount+ held a For Your Consideration event in New York City, giving critics and TV Academy members an opportunity to learn more about the series and its creative achievements. The event featured five cast members from Season 1 and it actually was the beginning of the show's Emmy push.

Whether those submissions will become nominations remains to be seen, but the scale of Paramount's campaign actually shows that Dexter: Resurrection is being treated as one of the network's biggest dramas when it comes to Emmy season.
