The Costa Rican National Police confirmed Warner’s death, stating the actor accidentally drowned on Sunday, July 20, off the coast of Playa Cocles beach in Limón. According to authorities, Warner was caught in high-current waters and, despite being rescued by bystanders, was found without vital signs when Red Cross first responders arrived. His official cause of death has been listed as asphyxia due to drowning.
Born on August 18, 1970, Warner gained widespread fame for his role as Theo, the lovable and witty son on The Cosby Show, which ran from 1984 to 1992. His portrayal helped shape the cultural landscape of American television in the 1980s and 1990s, making him a beloved figure in countless households.
