Dexter's Kill Room Season 3 Premieres with Krysten Ritter and Eric Stonestreet — Watch Episode 1 Now

Ahead of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, Paramount+ has officially premiered Season 3 of the YouTube series Dexter's Kill Room.

As Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 gets closer, Paramount+ has officially kicked off another season of Dexter's Kill Room. For the third year in a row, the weekly YouTube series is returning to "help" fans revisit memorable moments from the franchise before new episodes arrive.

The companion series first launched in 2024 ahead of Dexter: Original Sin, before returning last year in the weeks leading up to the premiere of Dexter: Resurrection. Now, it's back once again as the countdown to Season 2 begins.

Season 3 opens with two special guests from Dexter: Resurrection: Eric Stonestreet and Krysten Ritter, who played serial killers Al Walker (Rapunzel) and Mia Lapierre (Lady Vengeance).

The format and setting remains the same as in previous seasons, with the guests watching scenes from the series and sharing behind-the-scenes stories and memories. For the premiere, Stonestreet and Ritter revisited five episodes from Dexter: Resurrection Season 1, offering a lot of fun and interesting insights along the way.

The first scene came from fan-favorite Episode 4, "Call Me Red," which featured the serial killer gathering at Leon Prater's penthouse. While talking about the scene, Ritter revealed that, unlike her character Mia, she knows almost nothing about wine and admitted she gets annoyed by people who pretend to be experts.

The conversation then moved to Episode 5, "Murder H*rny," which featured Dexter and Mia's bowling date. Ritter shared that she's actually a very good bowler in real life and was excited when she learned her character would get a bowling scene. Looking back, the scene served more than one purpose. Not only was it a nod to the OG Dexter series, where Dex and his Miami Metro coworkers often went bowling, but it also gave Ritter the chance to show off one of her real-life talents.

The first episode of Dexter's Kill Room Season 3 runs for about 30 minutes, making it the longest one of the YouTube series so far. That's a welcome change, especially considering the great chemistry between Eric Stonestreet and Krysten Ritter, who clearly enjoyed looking back on their time working together.

This season will also feature a different approach when it comes to hosts. While last year's episodes were led by Jersey Shore stars Snooki and JWoww, Season 3 will rotate different pairs of actors from both the original Dexter series and Dexter: Resurrection.

We previously reported that Erik King and Julie Benz would serve as the main hosts for Season 3, but that actually turned out to be a misunderstanding caused by the wording of Paramount+'s press release. Instead, both fan-favorite stars will appear as special guests in a future episode.
