Dexter: Original Sin Episode 5 – 'F is for F*ck-Up' Synopsis Teases Consequences for Dexter

Showtime has released the official summary for the next episode of the Dexter prequel.

Happy New Year's Eve! As we wrap up 2024, it’s been an incredible year for Dexter fans. We’re already four episodes into Dexter: Original Sin Season 1, thanks to Paramount+’s early Christmas gift of three episodes in one week. Moving forward, episodes will release weekly, with a brief one-week hiatus scheduled for mid-January.

Up next is Episode 105, titled "F is for F*ck-Up", a fitting name for those who witnessed the shocking final moments of Episode 104, "Fender Bender."

If you haven’t seen Episode 104 yet, beware—spoilers ahead!

The fallout from "Fender Bender" has left 20-year-old Dexter Morgan in a tangled web of problems after his third kill went disastrously wrong. It also raises burning questions:

  • What will Dexter do with the kill room he set up in Mad Dog’s house?
  • Is Mad Dog dead after the car collision, or merely injured?
  • How will Harry react when he finds out about Dexter’s sloppy mistake?

Here’s the official synopsis for Episode 5, "F is for F*ck-Up":

After a kill goes wrong, Dexter is grounded by Harry; Deb deepens her relationship with Gio, and bonds with her brother on the anniversary of their mother’s death.

Mark your calendars! Episode 105, the first Dexter: Original Sin episode of 2025, premieres on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, January 3, at 12:01 AM EST.

Stay tuned for more updates as Dexter: Original Sin continues!
