Watch Slater hilariously shoving his head into the goodbye cake on his final day of shooting!

Dexter: Original Sin has entered its final week of production, with just 22 days left until the highly anticipated series premiere. Last night was particularly memorable for the remaining cast on the set of the Dexter prequel, as a mini night party was held at the studio in Los Angeles.

Christina Milian (Maria LaGuerta), Christian Slater (Harry Morgan), and Alex Shimizu (Vince Masuka) officially wrapped filming their scenes for Season 1. They marked the occasion with the rest of the cast and crew in a festive celebration. The iconic farewell cake made its appearance, but things took a hilarious turn when Christian Slater playfully shoved his face into it—a joyous gesture reflecting the camaraderie he shared with his fellow cast members on this exciting project.

"Well, my friends... it’s a wrap, @sho_dexter!" Christina Milian shared in a heartfelt message. "It’s been an awesome season getting to know these characters on and off-screen over the past few months! I’ve had so much fun! Who would’ve known I’d meet such loving and talented people who don’t ever wanna grow up—just like me! 🤪🥳 I can’t wait for you guys to watch the first season of Dexter: Original Sin on @showtime @paramountplus, premiering this DECEMBER! To the cast and crew—I love you guys!"

Earlier that same day, before the celebrations kicked off, Christian Slater received a visit from key members of the Dexter: Original Sin team, including producer Robert Lloyd Lewis, writer Scott Reynolds, and showrunner Clyde Phillips. Reynolds shared a selfie from Slater’s trailer on his X account, capturing the moment.

As filming wraps for most of the main cast, Patrick Gibson, who stars as the series' lead, remains the last man standing on set. His final scenes are set to conclude later this week, officially closing the book on production for Season 1.
