But before you cast your vote in the poll at the end of this article, let's take a look at the episode's details and some of the most memorable moments from its opening chapter.

Memorable Moments from ‘Risky Business’

The following section contains spoilers for the latest episode.

1. Angel Batista returns in a dream sequence

The Season 2 premiere wastes no time getting things started, opening with an exciting cameo from David Zayas, who reprises his role as Angel Batista.

Set to Glenn Frey's “The Heat Is On,” this amazing sequence takes place while Dexter is... sleeping in his car, waiting for his next rideshare customer. He dreams that he's working alongside Batista to take down a fictional serial killer played by the legendary Kane Hodder.

In the dream, the two are actually best friends, with Batista fully accepting who Dexter really is. Of course, that would have been far too good to be true him.

2. Dexter has been busy taking down serial killers during the time jump

Episode 1 confirms that three to four years have passed since the Season 1 finale of Dexter: Resurrection. And the premiere makes it clear that Dexter Morgan hasn't been wasting any time. During those years, he tracked down and killed several serial killers whose identities were included in Leon Prater's files.

We get a glimpse of two of them in the episode, played by AEW star Chris Jericho and System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian.

3. Dexter finally tracks down and kills Al Walker, aka Rapunzel

One of the biggest loose ends from the first season was the escape of Al Walker, the serial killer Dex had not only encountered but also prepared a kill room for. Although it's very rare for our favorite antihero to let someone slip away, the show cleverly waited until enough time had passed before picking up this storyline again. And the payoff was definitely worth it.

Rapunzel had killed again using his "trademark" twisted method, which ended up having Dexter to track him down. But, just like in Season 1, things didn't actually go exactly as planned.

This time, however, a much more dramatic confrontation unfolded. After a fight between the two, Dexter was forced to kill Al in a way that didn't follow his usual ritual.

These are just three of the most exciting moments from the Season 2 premiere. We'll be sharing a more detailed analysis of the episode soon, so stay tuned to Dexter Daily.
