The second season of Dexter: Resurrection is almost here, and with new episodes set to arrive weekly through the beginning of next year, the final stage of promotion is now in full swing. As the premiere gets closer, more exciting updates are coming our way, including a fresh batch of stills from upcoming episodes.

Released by Entertainment Weekly in collaboration with Paramount+, the six new promotional photos give a better and perhaps more meaningful look at some of the most important characters in Season 2. While we've already seen a lot of footage from the upcoming season, these latest images reveal some interesting details.

Seven main characters appear across the six stills, including some familiar faces and a few of the new season's most dangerous figures. One image, in particular, is sure to get fans talking, as it actually gives us a first official look at a highly anticipated reunion between two former Miami Metro colleagues.

Without further ado, let's take a closer look at all six photos and what makes each one interesting.

1. Dexter Morgan Holding a Jawbone

The first image features Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan inside what appears to be an... elegant location, judging by the statue visible in the background. He's wearing a dark blue shirt while holding an animal jawbone, leaving us wondering what he's up to in this scene.

2. Harrison and Fiona at the New York Police Department

Next, we have Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona and Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan at the 27th Precinct of the NYPD. The two rookies appear to be on duty, but neither looks comfortable in this moment. Both characters seem disturbed by something they're witnessing, although the still doesn't actually reveal exactly what's caught their attention.

3. Lucas Stark, the Five Borough Killer

This shot gives us another look at Dan Stevens as Lucas Stark, better known as the Five Borough Killer (FBK), one of Season 2's main antagonists. He's wearing a cap along with his (now) signature smart glasses, which as it was recently revealed, feature a built-in camera.

4. Don Framt, the New York Ripper

Speaking of serial killers, the next still features Brian Cox as Don Framt, also known as the New York Ripper. He's pictured outdoors in what actually appears to be a park, looking relaxed as he uses a pair of binoculars to watch something from a distance.

5. Dexter and Harry in the Basement Apartment

The fifth image shows Michael C. Hall and James Remar together as Dexter and his late father, Harry. The scene takes place at his basement apartment, with Dexter holding a piece of glass that looks very similar to the invitation associated with Leon Prater in Season 1.

6. Quinn and Dexter Together at a Bar

As we mentioned earlier, this is arguably the most interesting image in the entire batch. It offers our first official look at the highly anticipated reunion between Dexter and Joey Quinn, the two former Miami Metro colleagues who are now crossing paths again in New York City.

What's particularly interesting is Quinn's reaction. Unlike Angel Batista, who was understandably shaken by his encounters with Dexter, Quinn appears to be all smiles as he sits with his former colleague. Judging by his facial expression Dex also seems happy to be in Quinn's company, with the two sharing a beer at the bar.

Of course, a single still doesn't actually tell us much about the circumstances behind their meeting, but it's definitely an intriguing first look at their reunion. What brings these two together again, and how much does Quinn really know about Dexter?

And... there you have it! These six brand-new promotional photos give another glimpse at the characters we'll be seeing when Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 premieres. Which of these new stills caught your attention the most? Let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments below.
