The marketing for Dexter: Resurrection continues to deliver, and this time, Paramount+ has unveiled the first Season 2 poster, which fits perfectly with the theme of the latest teaser trailer.
Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 has officially been set to premiere on the eve of Halloween 2026, and following the big announcement, Paramount+ has released a brand-new poster for the highly anticipated return of the series.
While this can be considered an official poster, it is not the final key art. That is actually expected to be released sometime in the coming weeks as we get closer to the Season 2 premiere.
Staying true to the concept introduced in the latest teaser trailer, which features Dexter Morgan struggling to read and visiting an optometrist to get his first pair of reading glasses, the new poster takes that idea to another level.
It is, quite literally, an eye chart. And fittingly, the bottom of the chart reveals the release date for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2.
The design keeps the look of a traditional eye chart, with the familiar lettering and color scheme. In the bottom-right corner, a few drops of blood actually add the perfect... Dexter touch to the otherwise simple design.
But perhaps the smartest part of the poster is the tiny message placed directly beneath the Paramount+ logo. It reads: “If you're reading this without glasses, congratulations. Mid-life crisis is a killer.”
Of course, that line is more than a clever joke. Based on recent interviews with showrunner Clyde Phillips, along with the official synopsis for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 that was released months ago, it has already been established that one of the season's major themes will be Dexter Morgan dealing with his own mid-life crisis.
This final sentence on the poster seems to be a playful nod to exatly that, while also connecting to the new direction of Dexter Morgan's upcoming storyline.
