After a long wait, we finally have the official premiere date for the second season of Dexter: Resurrection.
The day has finally come. 368 days after the first season ended its run and 148 days after Season 2 began filming in New York City, Paramount+ has officially revealed when the new season premieres.
Following the September 7 announcement, Paramount+ prepared fans for the reveal with a clever teaser, setting the stage for an early release date confirmation that arrived sooner than expected.
Interestingly, the release date was revealed earlier than expected through a billboard promoting the upcoming season in Times Square. The billboard was filmed last night by a passerby and shared on social media, giving fans their first official look at the announcement.
The ad features Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan undergoing an eye exam before revealing Dexter wearing glasses. The premiere date then appears alongside him, officially confirming that Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 will premiere on October 30, 2026.
That means the highly anticipated new season is less than two months away. And with October marking the 20th anniversary month of the Dexter franchise, things are about to get even more exciting, as the milestone will now be celebrated alongside brand-new episodes of the beloved series.
So, there we go. One of the biggest questions Dexter fans have had for months has finally been answered. Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 is coming on October 30, just in time for Halloween, and the wait is finally coming to an end.
