Princess Goes Unveils ‘Sincere Chroma’ and a Music Video Unlike Anything They’ve Done Before

Michael C. Hall’s band has released its latest single, “Sincere Chroma,” along with its official music video.

Michael C. Hall and his band Princess Goes are currently preparing for the release of their new album, which is set to arrive later this year. Until then, fans are getting small previews of what's to come. That rollout actually began recently with the release of the album's first single, and now the band is already back with a second track.

The new song is titled "Sincere Chroma." Earlier this week, Princess Goes released the track across all major streaming platforms, including YouTube, where the official music video premiered as well. And it is safe to say that the video is unlike anything we've seen from the band before.

The music video is actually  remarkably simple, consisting of a single uninterrupted take from beginning to end. It features Michael C. Hall alongside his bandmates Matt Katz-Bohen and Peter Yanowitz. Throughout the video, Yanowitz sits in a chair while Hall and Katz-Bohen give him a haircut, making the one take approach an important part of the concept.

Directed by Lexie Moreland, the video remains completely unedited throughout its runtime. Its style was partly inspired by the busy schedules of the band members, especially Hall, who is currently in his second consecutive month of filming Dexter: Resurrection Season 2.

Hall recently expressed hope that some of Princess Goes' newer songs (or even a few older tracks) could find their way into a future season of Dexter. The band's music has already appeared in both Dexter: New Blood and, more recently, Dexter: Resurrection.
