Comic-Con 2025 is officially over and has left some great impressions among Dexter fans.
For the second consecutive year, the Dexter franchise made a powerful impact at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, one of the world's largest pop culture conventions, drawing over 130,000 passionate fans. The four-day event wrapped up successfully, with Dexter: Resurrection front and center once again, reminding everyone why this legendary series continues to captivate audiences.
On Friday, the spotlight was on the highly anticipated Dexter: Resurrection panel, held in Ballroom 20. While this year's discussion wasn’t quite as revealing as last year’s show-stopper, it still thrilled longtime fans. Cast members joined showrunner Clyde Phillips and executive producer/writer Scott Reynolds to share insights, behind-the-scenes moments, and just the right amount of teasers for the new season currently airing.
The panel included beloved Dexter stars Michael C. Hall, David Zayas, Krysten Ritter, Jack Alcott, and James Remar. Although Peter Dinklage was not part of the Dexter series (he was promoting Toxic Avenger), he did appear in the group photoshoot, adding some unexpected star power.
Entertainment Weekly Photoshoot at Comic-Con
Between panels and press obligations, the cast headed to Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con studio at the Hard Rock Hotel, where they took part in a unique black-and-white photoshoot — with a creative twist!
Each portrait, photographed by Jonny Marlow and artistically enhanced by illustrator Rebecca Holopter, showcases the actors in striking poses, later brought to life with bold, colorful illustrations. The result? A collection of vibrant, stylized portraits that perfectly blend gritty intensity with comic-book flair — a fitting homage to the Dexter universe.
