Hall discusses the new season, we briefly see a scene where Dexter is driving a car, and a hooded figure appears from the back seat and tries to strangle him using — you guessed it — the same chain-like weapon. In a moment that mirrors Dexter's own past methods, he manages to fight back and subdue the attacker using his signature M99 sedative.
Meet 'Red' — The Dark Passenger Killer
So who is behind the hood?
According to this quick shot, and based on the facial features, we can comfirm that the Dark Passenger Killer is none other than a character named Red, portrayed by Marc Menchaca. If you're familiar with Menchaca’s previous roles in shows like Ozark or The Outsider, you know he brings a quiet intensity that’s perfect for a character like this.
