Marc Menchaca, best known for his role in Netflix’s hit series Ozark, has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Dexter sequel, starring Michael C. Hall. While Showtime has not yet officially confirmed his involvement, we can report that Menchaca’s role remains under wraps for now.

On Sunday, Dexter Daily shared set photos sent by a source in the Bronx, New York, taken on February 12. Initially, we were unable to identify the actor, referring to him as a “mystery man.” Thanks to one of our insightful readers, we have now confirmed that it is indeed Marc Menchaca.
In the images, which you can view here, the 49-year-old actor is seen wearing a gray jacket, a hoodie, a cap, and sunglasses while walking among extras. Notably, he carries a backpack featuring a logo that reads The Bridge Data Network—a fictional cybersecurity firm described as providing “Professional Cybersecurity Secured.” This company appears to exist solely within the Dexter universe and could play a key role in Dexter: Resurrection’s storyline.
Who Is Marc Menchaca’s Character?
What role could Menchaca be playing in Dexter: Resurrection, and how significant will his character be?
One theory suggests that his character may be directly connected to Peter Dinklage’s role as Leon Prater, a billionaire who has Uma Thurman’s Charley as his right hand. Could Menchaca’s character be working for Prater or even be an antagonist himself? Fans will have to wait and see.
