Hall (Dexter Morgan), David Zayas (Angel Batista), along with executive producers Clyde Phillips and Scott Reynolds, will be stepping away from the NYC set to attend the show's first major convention appearance in Mexico City. It’s an exciting milestone that fans around the world are eagerly looking forward to.
Action-Packed Filming Week in New York City
Before the spotlight shifts to Mexico, the streets of NYC will be buzzing with Dexter: Resurrection activity. According to the latest casting calls released by Waldron Casting, the production is preparing to film several exterior scenes throughout the week, particularly in Tribeca, Manhattan.
Wednesday, May 28th – A key scene will be filmed on location in Tribeca, and the casting team is currently seeking non-union individuals aged 18–40 to portray college-age pedestrians. This age-specific call connects to scenes involving the fictional Collings College, which fans might recognize from previous set photos.
Participants must be comfortable wearing coats, despite the spring weather, as the wardrobe reflects the series' timeline. There will be lots of walking, so be prepared for a physically active day on set.
Second Casting Call: Real Line Cooks Needed
In addition to the college scene, another casting notice has been posted — and this one is very specific. The production is looking for real, experienced line cooks for background work in an upcoming restaurant scene taking place in Manhattan on Thursday, May 29th.
