The ceremony will carry a Dexter: Original Sin vibe — let’s find out why!
Christian Slater, star of Dexter: Original Sin, is set to receive one of Hollywood’s most iconic honors — a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. The acclaimed actor, who portrays Harry Morgan in the Dexter prequel series, will unveil the 2,815th star on Sunday, June 9, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to television.
The ceremony promises a strong Dexter vibe, with Slater's close friend and Dexter: Original Sin co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar scheduled as one of the guest speakers. Gellar’s appearance not only highlights their off-screen friendship but also adds star power and Dexter universe energy to the celebration.
Also speaking at the event is director Michael Lehmann, who helmed six episodes of Dexter: Original Sin Season 1. Lehmann and Slater’s creative collaboration dates back decades — most memorably to the cult classic Heathers (1988), where a young Slater starred opposite Winona Ryder and Shannen Doherty under Lehmann’s direction.
Slater, who is confirmed to return for Season 2 of Dexter: Original Sin, is no stranger to acclaim. He earned a Golden Globe Award for his role as the enigmatic hacker Mr. Robot in the critically acclaimed series of the same name.
