The scene is scheduled to be filmed this Thursday, February 6.
The highly anticipated series Dexter: Resurrection, starring Michael C. Hall, is now in its fifth week of production in New York City. For its first season, most of the action—if not the vast majority—will unfold in the Big Apple and its surrounding suburbs.
Joining Michael C. Hall in the cast are returning fan favorites David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott. In an exciting new addition to the Dexter universe, Hollywood A-lister Uma Thurman has officially joined the series. More casting announcements are expected soon, so stay tuned!
Filming is well underway in NYC, and last week, set photos captured key moments featuring Dexter, Harry, and Harrison, along with director Marcos Siega, braving the cold on location.
Casting Calls for Extras in New York
Over the past few weeks, NYC’s Waldron Casting has been actively searching for extras. Yesterday, the agency released a casting call for a real acupuncturist, and now we learned about another opportunity for people with disabilities to participate in background work.
The scene is scheduled to be filmed on February 6 in Yonkers, NY. If you or someone you know lives in the area and wants to be part of the Dexter franchise—this is a fantastic chance!
For more details, including eligibility criteria and contact information, check out Waldron Casting’s official announcement below.
While the information provided by the casting call doesn't reveal much about the potential plot of the scene, it's important to keep Dexter fans in New York informed about possible opportunities to participate in Dexter: Resurrection in one way or another.
Stay tuned for more updates on the sequel, as they're just around the corner!
