    That's going to be fun to watch Dexter taking such drastic action in front of all of his colleagues. They may treat him like a hero. Just from these pictures, it seems like Dexter recognizes Beth Dorsey. That, or he just recognizes that she means to cause harm. Anyway,it looks like Dexter will run from his lab area and push Beth into the interview room to save Debra and his colleagues. I think Beth will only poison herself.

    That's exactly what I was thinking would happen. I think Deb is finally going to see Dexter take a life. And I can't wait!

    There doesn't seem to be any plausible way that dexter - but NOT miami metro - would know who this woman is. its not like he ID'd the guy he killed on the boat whom he could then track as this woman's boyfriend/husband.

    the only way anyone's finding out who she is would be through knowing that Batista went to her house. In that case, the whole department should know who she was - not just dexter

    @3.19 - he doesn't have to necessarily have prior knowledge of her. As far as his colleagues are concerned he noticed her acting suspiciously and reacted faster than anyone else.

    Looking at the other promo shot though it looks like Dexter is trying to hold the door closed and Deb is trying to pull him away, which would have made sense if the spoiler about Quinn had been true but now it turns out it isn't, so who knows?

    Well, in the DEXTER universe, we have to remember that Dexter says he can recognize something sinister in other killers. He quickly picks up on their body language, and reacts accordingly. Dexter will probably lock Beth in the interview room without thinking, or caring that his colleagues will see him do it. All Dexter will be thinking about is the lives of his co-workers. Season 1 Dexter would only do it to save Debra only. Dexter just cares more about others more nowadays.
