Dexter star Michael C. Hall attended the Dexter Panel at Comic-Con 2012 yesterday. Between others, when he was asked what his favorite season is so far and why, he answered: "The one we're doing right now, 'cause that's all there is, baby". [Spoilers]: He also shared that we will see a more manipulative, self-serving side of his character this season. Although he assured us that Dexter would still be likeable, he admitted that much of this manipulation will be the result of Deb walking in on him killing the DoomsDay Killer.
I hate that the press always ask this question. Of course they are going to say their favorite is the current one. Thats the one they are promoting!

ReplyDeleteRemember all the hype about season 6? Let's just say it didn't do much in the story of the show, but maybe that is what it took to open some doors in season 7? I don't know. One thing I know for sure is that I want something good and genuine to make us remember what made us fall in love with this show!

Not even a single fan video of the panel on Youtube. Were everyone's cameras taken away? This is the first year 24 hours have gone by with no panel videos. I can see dozens of videos of other panels but no Dexter. :(((

DeleteQuit setting yourself up for disappointment. Too many of the (good) writers are gone. Im hoping for at least season 5 quality.

DeleteIt can never be as good as it was in Season 1... but I think S2 is slightly flawed and if they really throw themselves into it, 7 or 8 could equal 2. :)

i think everyone has said season 4 to be their favorite and last year i remember michael c. hall was praising his favorite kill as little chino in season 2, needless to say i think this season will be promising. personally i thought season 6 was great i like every season of dexter some more than others but have never been too bored or too disappointed.
