FX UK Channel Brings Dexter to BT Vision

Via digitalchoices.co.uk: Telecoms giant BT has announced its fourth new TV channel in less than a month, by adding the popular FX UK to its digital platform BT Vision.

"FX has an outstanding line-up of hit shows, many of which are hugely popular with viewers in the UK."

Hot on the heels of a deal to broadcast three UKTV channels - Watch, Gold and Alibi - subscribers to BT Vision will soon be able to watch hit FX shows, such as zombie drama The Walking Dead and cult vampire series True Blood.

Other highly-acclaimed programmes coming to FX UK on BT Vision include Falling Skies, produced by Hollywood legend Steven Spielberg, and killer series Dexter.

Marc Watson, chief executive of BT Vision, said: "We are moving fast to be able to offer our customers a collection of the best TV channels available. We recently announced the very popular UKTV channels and are now able to confirm we will also be offering FX UK.

"It is a channel our customers have frequently requested. FX has an outstanding line-up of hit shows, many of which are hugely popular with viewers in the UK and the US."

As well as being able to watch all the shows live on FX UK, BT Vision customers will also be able to enjoy many of the top shows via the platform's on-demand catch-up service, for up to seven days after the original broadcast.

FX UK will launch on BT Vision later in 2012, available as part of a subscription package or on a pay-per-view basis. BT Vision Unlimited subscribers can also look forward to the first two series of The Walking Dead, which will be coming to on-demand BT Vision later in the year.
