  1. The only one with a chance is Hall. Otherwise zero.

  2. Hall hasn't given an outstanding performance since Season 3, or even a good performance since Season 4, so I say zero.

  6. This year was very bad for Dexter??? What show were you watching? Because the Dexter I watch started out the season with awesome ratings that only went up as the season went on. Matter of fact, the Dexter I watch had it's highest rated season overall this year. Both cast and crew and most of the fans have resoundingly said it was their best season thus far. So I think, as well as the majority of Dexter fans, that Dexter has had an amazing year. Quite clearly anonymous 11:17 AM, your opinion is the minority here.

  7. I'd say the outstanding ensemble and outstanding lead male actor, Dexter could probably win. But I'd curb my enthusiasm, if Bryan Cranston was nominated, he'll definitely win again simply because Breaking Bad had a much stronger season than Dexter. What I don't understand is how Jennifer Carpenter wasn't nominated for anything, Hall was only minutely better than her this season, and he's only better if you think about some of the subtle nuances he introduced to the character because of Dexter's development--on the whole, the characterization that made Dexter Morgan brilliant this season was hidden under multiple layers--Deb's was much more upfront and Carpenter handled it with class, imo.

  8. Well, for me season 6 was better than season 3 but worse than all the others. That doesn't mean it was bad though. I still enjoyed watching it and can't wait for season 7.

  9. Well, since I'm among the minority that thinks that S4 was actually very overrated (the season was pretty boring until 'Hungry Man', with the exception of Lundy's death), I feel that S6, despite its flaws, is a tie with S4. I'd encourage S6 haters to go back and rewatch the season, keeping in mind that Dexter has gone to his metaphorical 'dark side' by 'This is the way the World Ends'. For me, S6 far outshines S5, and I think Season Three is so underrated, it's criminal. Two is the best, IMO.

  10. I'd explain season 3's unpopularity with Miguel. For me me he was the most uncharismatic "Big Bad" yet. Closely followed by Travis though.

  11. Well wrap it up at a cool zero. I think Boardwalk Empire might've gotten a little too much love. I feel like Dexter and Breaking Bad got forgotten.

  12. Well, Boardwalk Empire showed how you win a SAG/Emmy.

Can't just tease the deed, gotta follow through! ;)

  13. Also it's pretty rare to win awards 2 out of 3 years.

  14. Who wouldn't want to do the deed if Jennifer Carpenter is playing the love interest? I just saw a picture of her dress tonight... WOW!!!!!
