Dexter - Episode 6.05 "The Angel of Death" - Review
Dexter “The Angel of Death” Season 6 Episode 5 by DaemonsTV – Dexter returned this week with “The Angel of Death”, and it opened with Dex investigating the wings that were attached to the girl at the end of the last episode. Dexter tells us in his narration that the killer left absolutely no traces of fingerprints, saliva, blood, semen, nothing. I hope we get some kind of explanation as to how this Travis kid is able to be such an effective killer. I know he’s got Professor Gellar (Or at least his imagination’s version of him) breathing in his ear the whole time, but that couldn’t possibly keep him from being one of the cleanest killers that we’ve seen on the show.
Before we get to all of the great stuff in the show, I have a couple more complaints I need to mention before I move along. First of all, it just bothers me that Dexter is keeping the evidence of the calf skin wing to himself (And subsequent discovery of Travis Marshall through the museum website). It might seem inconsequential to some, but hasn’t Dexter learned his lesson about withholding evidence from the Trinity Killer case? If this secret-keeping behavior leads to something bad happening to Harrison, Deb, or somebody else close to Dexter, it would be tough to feel bad for him this time. This could all be easily avoided, Dex! Just share your discoveries with everybody else! Read more after the jump...

Colin Hanks: "Travis is A Very Lost & Confused Man That Has Fallen"
Your "Dexter" character, Travis, is pretty intense. He's like a "Silence of the Lambs" villain crossed with a religious zealot. What can you tell us about him?
Travis is obviously a very lost and confused man that has fallen — I don't want to say fallen — who has chosen to [align with] Prof. Gellar, which is Eddie's character — and the two of them are obviously very determined to commit these crimes. But in their minds they're not crimes. What they're doing is trying to bring on the new world, so to speak. Read more after the jump below...

Jennifer Carpenter: "Michael C. Hall Is And Always Will Be One of My Best Friends in The World" [VIDEO]
Via E!Online.com: Jennifer Carpenter is on her way to a weekend bender! And it's the best of all kinds for TV fans. "I'm working on The Good Wife and we're working a 'Fraturday,'" she tells us of her guest stint opposite Michael J. Fox. "Which means you start work Friday and don't get off til the crack of dawn Saturday morning." Good times! But before that, we caught up with J.Carp to ask about that other awesome show she's on, Showtime's Dexter, to find out if Deb knows Dex's secret, and what it's like working with that other middle-initialed Michael, her ex-husband Michael C. Hall. Read more after the jump...
VIDEO: John Lithgow Dives Deep Into Dexter: 'It Was Delicious'
After an award-winning turn as the zany Dr. Dick Solomon, an alien secretly studying human life on '3rd Rock From the Sun' John Lithgow stretched into the role of twisted serial murderer Arthur Mitchell, a.k.a. the Trinity Killer, on 'Dexter'. In this clip, he talks about the pleasures of playing against type (October 26).

Dexter - 6.04 "A Horse of a Different Color" - Recap #3
Recap by Alex Moaba - AolTV: The latest episode of 'Dexter' was visually disgusting, and in true 'Dexter' fashion, surprisingly fun. There's a unique viewing pleasure in watching the Miami Metro Homicide Unit clicking like a well-oiled investigative machine, uncovering leads and consulting religious texts to track a serial killer. Eventually, of course, Dexter will work just as hard to figure out a way to throw his colleagues off the scent so he can serial kill the serial killers at the final moment, but for now, the Doomsday Killers have been nicknamed and the hunt to crack their bizarre mythology is on.
'A Horse of a Different Color' opened in the aftermath of the chilling chopped-up jogger horse-corpse parade, with the crime scene looking like a demented petting zoo on the Island of Dr. Moreau. Fortunately, new detective Mike Anderson seems well versed in 'The Da Vinci Code' and quickly cracked the biblical code, connecting the religious imagery to the four horsemen of the apocalypse from the Book of Revelations.
This latest murder and the snakes-in-the-stomach fruit stand case were clearly connected by a shared insignia, and as Dexter & co. compare the two cases, clues begin to mount. Dexter finds a piece of paper with the number '1242' lodged in the dead jogger's eyeball and one that says '1237' in the other victim's intestines. He observes that like the numbers, the murders happened five days apart. Read the full recap by clicking the link below...

The Good Wife Season 3 - Jennifer Carpenter to Guest!
Great news via SpoilerTV: Jennifer Carpenter, best known for her role as Deb Morgan on Dexter, will appear in an episode of the third season of the brilliant Good Wife. For now, we don't know anything about her character (at least TVLine doesn't) except that this episode will probably be broadcasted in late November/early December on the Tiffany Network.
Aside from Dexter, Jennifer Carpenter had never done another TV show. Both Dexter and The Good Wife are broadcasted on Sundays at 9pm, and it is likely Jennifer Carpenter's episode will face either the pre-penultimate, the penultimate or the final episode of Dexter's sixth season, but Showtime is owned by CBS, so it's fine.

Dexter Season 6 Episode 4 Recap: Doomsday Killers
Episode 6.04 "A Horse of a Different Color" recap by Richard Rys (vulture): “Jesus Christ!” That’s Dexter’s reaction to seeing the Four Horsemen crime scene and those build-a-zombie riders. It’s also what many people probably blurted out at the end of last night’s episode. As slowly as this season had been creeping along, you figured there would finally be some payoff after the Prof and Travis unleashed their steeds. But there were so many revelations (pun intended) that Dexter didn’t even have time to kill anyone. All the talk of belief and faith is getting a bit heavy handed, but dude — the Prof went all Saw VII on Travis’s date!
Before we delve into the Doomsday Killers, as they’ve now been officially dubbed (nice work, Deb!), there’s still some shaking up going on at Miami Metro. In predictable fashion, LaGuerta gives Lieutenant Morgan some helpful advice before her first press conference and even lends her a necklace. Of course, encouraging Deb to “be herself” backfires as she drops an F-bomb on live television (and that necklace — not flattering). Then — surprise! — double backfire as Deputy Chief Matthews applauds her no-nonsense style with a pat on the back and an F-bomb of his own. Mike Anderson, Deb’s new hire, makes another great impression on his boss when he catches Deb shoving Thin Mints in her face during a stress-induced freak-out. He also suggests she dresses like she’s headed to a “hoedown.” If Anderson is homicide’s new fashion consultant, let’s hope he throws out all of Quinn’s International Male catalogues. Dexter - Episode 6.04 "A Horse of A Different Color" - Review
Dexter Season 6 Episode 4 "A Horse of a Different Color" review by DaemonsTV. For those who did watched it yet, the episode is now available by various torrent sites for download. "Dexter returned this week with “A Horse of a Different Color”, and the title seemed very appropriate, as this was definitely an episode of a different color as compared to the first three installments. The first three episodes were good, but really lacked a feeling of focus that would set the season in motion. This week’s installment looked to change that, and I think it did a great job.
We got our first look at how Deb’s replacement, Mike Anderson, is going to work in the scheme of the rest of the Miami Metro team. It’s tough as a long time Dexter fan to not have comparisons to Doakes come to you immediately, and no, not just because he’s black, you racist. Just once, I’d like to see a tall, strong, bald black man walk into a police department on a TV show and NOT be the tough guy. Wouldn’t that blow your mind if Anderson comes in and he’s a total softie? He starts quoting Voltaire and Shakespeare and greets everybody with an enthusiastic handshake and a cheesy grin. But no, he’s got something to prove so he acts like a huge jerk to everybody. He comes off very much like a slightly smarter Doakes. I guess now that Quinn has been reduced to a whiny little baby, the tough guy quota at Miami Metro needs to be fulfilled. Read more by clicking the link below...

Brea Grant: "Dexter's Letting Me Play Sexy"
New interivew with Brea Grant via the insider.com: While the projects Brea Grant has been a part of vary widely -- Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Halloween II -- the characters all seemed to be cut from the same quirky, best friend cloth. That's why the actress is so elated by her gig as Ryan: Masuka's seductive, death-obsessed, mysteriously motivated assistant on the current season of Dexter.
And while her super tight outfits leave little to the imagination, Brea tells me that Ryan's true motivations will remain mostly masked as she continues to play all sides of the fence for a few more weeks, as she gets ahead in Miami Metro. But a gig on TV's most darkly delicious drama isn't the only reason 2011 has been good to Brea -- she also just took home Best Actress for her role as a soldier in Homecoming. I found out why Brea chose that film, in addition to what's coming up on Dexter, when we chatted earlier this week.
Insider.com: When people talk to you about Ryan, is the costume the first thing they go to?
Brea Grant: Pretty much [laughs]. At the very least, Dexter is letting me play sexy, which is something no one has cast me in yet. I've always been the nerdy best friend, or even if I have a love interest, it's never sexy. It's like they're just good buddies [laughs]. This is the first time I've been able to express any sort of sexuality, which is crazy fun. Read the full interview by clicking the link below...

Interview with Dexter Author and Creator Jeff Lindsay
Via bostonherald.com: Writer Jeff Lindsay’s most famous character earned the author bestseller status and inspired a Golden Globe-winning Showtime series. Pretty sweet for a killer. Fans of Dexter Morgan, a Miami forensic analyst who moonlights as a sociopathic avenger, are in luck — Lindsay just released the sixth novel in the series, “Double Dexter” (Doubleday, $25.95) about a copycat killer on the loose, and heads to Boston on Wednesday for a reading at Brookline Booksmith. In a telephone interview from his South Florida home, Lindsay opened up about being the mind behind the mind of madness.
Herald: You’re the creator of one of the most beloved killers. How does it feel to be associated with Dexter?
I get a lot of people looking at me with this appraising look like, “You’re a sick puppy, aren’t you?” I don’t know, maybe I am. I am certainly a dedicated neurotic, I do my research and I put on the suit, kind of in the way an actor does.
Do you think that what Dexter does (killing bad people) is justified?
It’s an interesting concept that I want people to think and talk about. There are times when I think so. There was a guy here in South Florida that kidnapped a 6-year-old girl and raped and murdered her. I think I would have killed him myself. Not all people can be rehabilitated, and once you take that possibility away, what is the point of keeping them locked up? Read more after the jump below...
