Another week, another episode of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2. Episode 2, "Fallen," brought several exciting moments, including long-awaited reunions between former colleagues and encounters with familiar foes. It also took viewers to a number of real-life locations, from a local bar and a gym to a strip club and the Brooklyn restaurant that looks set to become a recurring spot this season.

These settings also provided the perfect opportunity to bring in some licensed music, and the team behind the show didn't hold back. The episode features eight songs in its main soundtrack, plus one bonus track, with selections spanning six decades. Each one actually adds something special to the scene it accompanies.

For the second season in a row, Oscar-winning producer Sean Fernald oversaw the music selection and kindly shared the complete list with us here at Dexter Daily. We've put all nine tracks together below, along with the scenes in which they appear. And keep an eye on track #5, which comes with a very interesting connection that many fans may not know about.

Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, Episode 2 "Fallen" – Full Soundtrack

1. "Pump It" – Black Eyed Peas (2005)

Scene: This mid-2000s hit plays throughout the scene in which Dexter Morgan hits the gym.

2. "Movin' On Up" – Primal Scream (1991)

Scene: This wonderful track, released in the same year in which the events of Dexter: Original Sin take place, plays in the background as Harrison arrives for his first day at his new job at the NYPD. It continues as some employees grab the doughnuts he's brought in to welcome them.

3. "All the Way" – New Order (1989)

Scene: This nostalgic track plays while Dexter and Harrison enjoy breakfast at the diner, before their conversation is actually interrupted by Charley.

4. "Trouble With Our Needs" – Citizen Alien (2019)

Scene: The music continues in the diner during the same scene, as Charley tries to convince Dexter to work with her and help take down serial killers.

5. "TV Dinner" – Ty Teg (2026)

Scene: This song plays during the long-awaited reunion between Dexter and Quinn at the bar, as the two former colleagues share a meaningful conversation.

There's also a fun connection behind this track. The artist behind it is Audrey Reynolds, the daughter of the show's writer and executive producer, Scott Reynolds!

6. "Pony" – Far (2010)

Scene: This rock cover of the classic R&B hit originally performed by Ginuwine plays on a loop during the strip club scene, when Don Framt, better known as the New York Ripper, and Dexter share a conversation for the first time. The song's lyrics are also a particularly fitting choice for the location.

7. "Subway Joe" – Joe Bataan (1968)

Scene: This track from the 1960s plays as Dexter finally gets to enjoy a ride on his new boat along the Hudson River, following his request to Charley. And the best part is that the vessel is called Slice of Life Too!

8. "The Day the World Went Away" – Nine Inch Nails (1999)

Scene: This haunting track from the late 1990s accompanies the introduction of Ray Ballard, also known as the Sleepy-Eyed Stranger. It plays throughout his first sequence in Dexter: Resurrection, including its closing moments.

Bonus track: "Criminal" – Fiona Apple (1996)

And there you have it! That's the complete collection of nine licensed songs featured in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, Episode 2, "Fallen," including the bonus track.

Which of these tracks do you think was the best fit for its scene? Let us know in the comments.
