The second season of Dexter: Resurrection kicked off with a very strong premiere, written by the two people at the helm of the series. Throughout its 50-minute run, we catch up with all the main characters and see where their stories stand following the three-year time jump. And, as we've come to expect from the franchise's newer era, the episode also features plenty of licensed music.

This has been a tradition since Dexter: New Blood in 2021, and it continued with Dexter: Original Sin and the first season of Resurrection. Now, it's actually back in full force for Season 2. It seems to have become a defining part of this new era of Dexter, and it's something viewers definitely enjoy.

But just how many licensed songs were featured in the Season 2 premiere, titled "Risky Business"?

The episode featured 12 licensed songs in total. The tracks span different genres and decades, with selections made by members of the creative team and overseen by music supervisor Sean Fernald.

Keeping up with a tradition from the previous seasons, we at Dexter Daily have identified every licensed song featured in the premiere and put them together in one place. Below, you'll find each track's title, artist, year of release, and the scene in which it appears.
