Fresh set photos from August 28 reveal an exciting scene involving two major characters as a police raid takes shape.
Warning: The following story contains spoilers for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2.
The 20th week of filming for the second season of Dexter: Resurrection has officially come to an end, and for its final day, we have some very interesting and honestly, quite revealing set images, thanks to Jose Perez and the Bauer-Griffin photo agency.
More specifically, the exterior scene took place in Astoria on 8/28, and involved two of the season's main actors, Jack Alcott and Kadia Saraf.
The interesting part isn't just that the two characters are now on the same side thanks to Harrison Morgan's new career with the NYPD, especially after everything that happened between them in Season 1. The bigger surprise is what appears to be happening around them.
A major police raid was actually being filmed, with a large number of law enforcement officers surrounding a house.
Harrison and Claudette Join Forces for a Police Raid
Several police cars could be seen surrounding the property, while officers dressed in dark blue tactical and riot gear gathered together. Some of them were wearing helmets and face masks or respirators, while one officer was seen carrying a large black ballistic shield. Others appeared to have rifles raised as they prepared to enter the house.
In other words, this was definitely not a routine police visit.
But there is one particular detail in the image that could actually reveal exactly which character this raid is about. And considering how far along Season 2 is in production, it could turn out to be a pretty major spoiler.
That detail is the wooden ramp leading up to the doorway of the house.
Is the NYPD Raid Actually Targeting The New York Ripper?
Ramps like this are commonly used at homes where people with mobility issues live, allowing them to get in and out of the property more easily. And based on everything we currently know about the Season 2 cast, there is one character in particular who immediately comes to mind. And that is Don Framt, aka The New York Ripper.
Way back in April, shortly after Brian Cox was announced to be playing the notorious serial killer who has been at the center of fan theories since the summer of 2025, set images revealed a significant detail about his character.
The New York Ripper is an 80-year-old man who uses a wheelchair and is unable to move around without assistance.
With that in mind, all signs point toward this NYPD raid involving Don Framt.
Of course, we cannot know for certain that the house in these photos belongs to The New York Ripper. The ramp could be unrelated to his character, or there might be another explanation for the scene, such as police raiding homes with ramps across targeted areas to find the elusive serial killer.
But if the production intentionally included this detail, it certainly looks like a big clue.
Which Episode Is This Scene From?
The timing suggests that it could be part of Episode 9 or Episode 10. Director Marcos Siega was seen there, so his presence this late in production could potentially give another clue about where this scene actually falls in the season.
Either way, these new images make it look like Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 has some very exciting moments in store.
Seeing Harrison Morgan and Detective Claudette Wallace on the same side (and actually working together as members of law enforcement) feels surreal. And the fact that they're involved in a major raid makes the scene even more intriguing.
