Desmond Harrington Shares Screenshot of an Anxious Quinn in an Upcoming Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Episode

The actor took to Instagram to tease his followers with an image straight from an upcoming episode of the second season.

As fans patiently wait for more official updates from Paramount+, and especially a trailer, many exciting teases have started to arrive from the actors themselves and even straight from the set of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 in New York City.

While fans have been treated to a lot of surprises lately, Desmond Harrington, who will reprise his role as Joey Quinn in the upcoming second season, has now shared another intriguing glimpse of his character. This time, Harrington took to Instagram to share a screenshot of Quinn from an upcoming episode of Dexter: Resurrection.

Harrington is returning for Season 2 in an upgraded role as a series regular, and that makes this tease even more interesting. And as far as we know, this is the first actual screenshot from an episode of Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 that has been shared so far.

What Does Desmond Harrington's New Screenshot Reveal?

At this point, we cannot know exactly which episode this screenshot is from, but there is already quite a bit we can break down. Even though it is only a single image, there are a few details worth taking a closer look at.

See the screenshot below, and continue reading for the full breakdown:

In the image, which is heavily cropped, as the episodes themselves are presetned in a 21:9 aspect ratio, Quinn can be seen wearing a black shirt with a black T-shirt underneath, while a thin gold chain is visible around his neck.

More importantly, Quinn looks anxious, disturbed, or possibly even worried about something, and his facial expression actually suggests that something serious is happening in this scene. We also cannot be completely certain about the environment Quinn is in at this specific moment, but the walls and overall setting make it seem very likely that he is inside an NYPD police station, and more specifically at an interrogation room.

If that is the case, Detective Claudette Wallace, played by Kadia Saraf, and Sergeant Melvin Oliva become two serious possibilities for characters who could be involved in the same scene.

Considering the big time jump coming in Season 2, it is entirely possible that Quinn has left Miami behind and is now in New York. That would make sense given the direction of the new season and Quinn's upgraded role in the story.

With Quinn returning as a series regular for Season 2, it would make sense for Paramount+ to allow Harrington to give fans a small glimpse of what is coming, especially as anticipation for the new season grows stronger day by day.

Could This Screenshot Be From an Upcoming Trailer?

There is another possibility worth considering, and that is that the screenshot Harrington shared could actually come from an upcoming teaser trailer featuring new footage from Season 2.

It is certainly possible that the cast already has access to the trailer or promotional footage, and Harrington may have found the perfect opportunity to tease fans without revealing too much. If that is the case, this could be our first look at footage that will eventually appear in an official trailer.
