The star of Dexter: Original Sin joined Jamie Chung on the latest episode of Dexter: Final Cut.
Dexter: Final Cut, the official aftershow companion to Dexter: Resurrection, is back with another exciting installment—continuing the Saturday tradition that began last December when the series first premiered on YouTube.
Hosted by Dexter: New Blood alum Jamie Chung, Final Cut dives deep into each episode of the Dexter universe, blending fan-favorite discussions, exclusive interviews, and fun games that keep the show's loyal fanbase engaged week after week.
This week’s fourth episode welcomes back a familiar face—Molly Brown, best known for her role as young Debra Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin. Brown last appeared on Final Cut earlier this year, on January 4th, to discuss Episode 5 of Original Sin. Now, she returns to give her take on Dexter: Resurrection Episode 5, titled “Murder H*rny”—which became available to stream this Friday.
The episode itself delivers on all fronts: suspense, emotional weight, and several twists that have fans talking. And Molly Brown doesn’t hold back. During her candid conversation with Jamie Chung, she shares her thoughts, theories, and raw reactions to the events that unfolded—especially those involving Harrison Morgan.
In a particularly interesting moment, Brown makes a chilling prediction about Harrison's fate:
“I just see Harrison dying. I don’t know... If he’s not joining the family business—killing with his father—then I feel like that’s where it’s heading. I’m not a writer, but that’s just how I see it.”
The prediction visibly took Jamie by surprise, adding even more tension to an already loaded conversation.
The episode also touches on one of the most tragic events in Dexter history—Rita Morgan’s death. When asked for her take, Molly offered a bold and nuanced view:
“Maybe I’m in the minority, but I don’t blame Dexter for Rita’s death. People die, people get killed by the Trinity Killer. It’s not necessarily [Dexter’s] fault.”
Brown also speculates that Mia Lapierre may not survive the season, a theory Jamie playfully disagreed with. Both clarified they don’t have insider knowledge and are simply sharing personal predictions—something that adds to the fun and authenticity of the aftershow.
To keep things lively, the episode also features two interactive games. One is the returning favorite “Blood Slide Roulette”, and the other is a brand-new segment called “Swear to Deb”—a trivia-style challenge where Molly tries to guess which of Debra Morgan’s iconic quotes from the original series are real and which ones are made up. Naturally, it’s full of laughs, curse words, and heartfelt moments.
