Four stars of the sequel series reunited in Shakespeare performance backed by Paramount+.
With Dexter: Resurrection dropping new episodes every Friday on Paramount+ Premium, fans are more hooked than ever. The revival has been generating buzz week after week, and this season in particular has been praised as both critically acclaimed and fan-approved—a rare balance that proves the sequel series is living up to its hype.
Since promotion began months ago at the Comic-Con Experience in Mexico City, the marketing push for Dexter: Resurrection has been steady and creative. From immersive fan activations to cast appearances, Showtime and Paramount+ have kept the spotlight on Dexter Morgan’s return. And even though we’re already seven episodes deep into the season, the promotional efforts are far from over.
On August 16, 2025, the same day Episode 7 (“Course Correction”) premiered, Paramount+ partnered with Shakespeare in the Park for a unique one-night-only activation at Central Park’s iconic Delacorte Theater. The timing and location couldn’t have been more perfect—after all, the series films in New York City, and co-star Peter Dinklage (who plays a major role in Dexter: Resurrection) is also starring in this year’s Shakespeare production.
And because it was a Dexter-themed evening, Dinklage wasn’t the only cast member in attendance. Fans in the audience were treated to appearances from Kadia Saraf (Detective Claudette Wallace), David Zayas (Angel Batista), and guest star Neil Patrick Harris (Lowell). Zayas was even spotted with his daughter, making the night feel as much like a family gathering as a promotional event.
To make the experience even more special, exclusive Dexter giveaways were handed out to theatergoers waiting in line. Attendees received popsicles to beat the summer heat, branded hand fans (yes, literal Dexter fans), and stylish red-and-white tote bags featuring the Dexter: Resurrection logo. For many, these keepsakes were just as exciting as the chance to spot their favorite cast members in person.

Final Thoughts
It was a magical evening where two worlds collided: Dexter: Resurrection and the timeless artistry of Shakespeare in Central Park. Fans not only got to see Peter Dinklage transform on stage (beard and all, for his role), but also enjoyed a night where Dexter’s presence was strong in the most unexpected way.
Though the sponsorship lasted just one night, it made a lasting impression—a testament to how deeply Dexter: Resurrection has embedded itself into the cultural fabric of New York City.
