Dexter returns to San Diego Comic-Con, with the sequel's cast kicking off the excitement at pre-panel events!
July 25 is shaping up to be a monumental day for Dexter fans! Not only are we being treated to a brand-new episode of Dexter: Resurrection, but there's also another thrilling event happening later today: the very first SDCC panel dedicated to the new show.
If you've followed Dexter through the years, you'll know that the franchise has a long and beloved history with San Diego Comic-Con.
The very first Dexter panel debuted over 15 years ago and has remained a fan-favorite event ever since. In fact, this marks the second consecutive year Dexter has returned to Comic-Con: last year’s Dexter: Original Sin panel featured the prequel cast, and surprise guest Michael C. Hall, whose appearance came with the jaw-dropping announcement that he would return as Dexter Morgan.

Before the Dexter: Resurrection panel kicks off later today, several of the show's stars are making the rounds in San Diego, participating in exclusive press events and fan-focused promos. Earlier today, Michael C. Hall, David Zayas, James Remar, David Dastmalchian, Krysten Ritter, and Jack Alcott were spotted at the Nintendo Lounge inside the Variety Studio—a Comic-Con favorite.
There, the cast members joined Christian "The Rizzler" Savasta for a few high-stakes rounds of Mario Kart World on the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2. Yes, you read that right: Dexter Morgan himself, Michael C. Hall, racing on Rainbow Road!
