Dexter: Resurrection Filming Locations – Production Continues in Bronx, NYC (Feb. 10-12)

Filming for the next chapter of the Dexter franchise is now in its sixth week.

With Dexter: Original Sin wrapping up its first season this Friday, fans are already turning their attention to the next highly anticipated chapter in the Dexter universe—Dexter: Resurrection, set to premiere in 2025.

This new installment serves as a direct sequel to Dexter: New Blood, bringing Dexter Morgan to an all-new setting—New York City. For the first time in the franchise, we’ll see Dexter navigating the streets of the Big Apple, offering a fresh yet chilling atmosphere. Much like New Blood, the series will continue with a cold-weather backdrop, a stark contrast to the warm, sunlit setting of the original Dexter series.

Filming Locations & Production Updates

In recent weeks, several behind-the-scenes set photos have surfaced, revealing key cast members, including Michael C. Hall, James Remar, and Jack Alcott. While many of these images were taken in downtown NYC, production has also extended to surrounding areas such as Yonkers.

Starting today, February 10, filming for Dexter: Resurrection is taking place in the Bronx, New York City, and will continue through Wednesday, February 12. The production is operating under the working title "DXO."

If you're in or around NYC, this is a great opportunity to catch a glimpse of the cast and crew in action.
