The official title for the Season 1 finale of Dexter: Original Sin!

Just over a week remains until Dexter: Original Sin premieres on Paramount+ with Showtime. As we approach December 13th, even more exciting Dexter-related updates are on the horizon—starting with the Dexter: Original Sin panel at São Paulo Comic Con (CCXP) in Brazil, happening in just two days.

As you may know, the highly anticipated Dexter prequel will feature a 10-episode first season. Like Dexter: New Blood, the season will have two directors: Michael Lehmann, who will helm six episodes, and Monica Raymund, who will direct four.

The Season 1 finale, which wrapped production on November 21st, is directed by Michael Lehmann and written by showrunner Clyde Phillips. Interestingly, the finale's title echoes a word from the original Dexter series' Season 1 finale, offering a nostalgic nod especially to longtime fans. Scroll down to discover the title of the prequel’s final episode of Season 1!

Episode 110 will be titled...

The title of this episode appears to directly reference Episode 12 of Dexter Season 1, "Born Free," where Dexter faced the harrowing decision to kill his own brother. Furthermore, in the teaser trailer released on September 12, we hear Michael C. Hall’s iconic inner monologue utter the phrase "I was born this way," reflecting on the traumatic days he was left in a shipping container, surrounded by his mother’s blood.

Episode 10, "Born this Way" is scheduled for release on Friday, February 14, 2025.
