A heartwarming moment unfolded last night as former cast members of Dexter reunited.
The Dexter: Original Sin red carpet event lit up New York City last night, hosted at the iconic SVA Theatre on December 11, 2024. The highly anticipated prequel series is set to premiere in just a few hours, and the event was graced by both the new cast and beloved stars from the original Dexter series.
David Zayas (Angel Batista), Luna Lauren Vélez (Maria LaGuerta), Michael C. Hall (Dexter Morgan), and James Remar (Harry Morgan) represented the original series, bringing nostalgia and excitement to the dazzling evening. For long-time fans, seeing these familiar faces together again was nothing short of heartwarming, as all four actors shared smiles and laughter on the red carpet.
Unfortunately, some notable cast members from the original show couldn’t attend. C.S. Lee (Vince Masuka) was busy filming a project in Los Angeles, while Julie Benz (Rita Morgan) also remained in L.A. Desmond Harrington (Joey Quinn), a native New Yorker, couldn’t make the event due to prior commitments.
However, fans were treated to a glimpse of Harrington when Dexter: Original Sin writer and executive producer Scott Reynolds shared a photo from their meetup at the Hotel Chelsea bar, posting it on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
