Dexter: Resurrection Casting Rumors – Uma Thurman in Talks to Join the Upcoming Sequel

This renowned Hollywood actress is rumored to be joining the highly anticipated sequel!

A few weeks ago, it was reported that several high-profile actors were in talks to join the cast of 'Dexter: Resurrection' - the New Blood sequel series expected to premiere in Summer 2025. If you recall, we reported that Peter Dinklage and Gillian Anderson were in talks for unknown roles on the show but new unconfirmed rumors suggest that Uma Thurman might also be under consideration.

Industry insider Daniel Richtman reports in his exclusive newsletter that Dexter: Resurrection will be set in New York City, with Peter Dinklage potentially playing the villain. According to Richtman, Uma Thurman know for her role in Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill among others, has been offered the role of Charley, a fixer working for Dinklage's character. However, these details about the setting, Dinklage, and Thurman remain unconfirmed.

If true, it is currently unclear if Gillian Anderson and Uma Thurman are being considered for the same role or if they are separate. With filming just around the bend (first week of January), we expect the answers to these questions will start to solidify in the next week or two.

For now, take this with a huge grain of salt until we secure further corroboration or until Showtime/Paramount make anything official. With that said, the rumors are starting to circulate and pick up steam in some corners of the internet so we wanted to make sure that we mention them.

As always, stay tuned here to Dexter Daily in the coming weeks for more information regarding this highly anticipated new series.
