The latest casting addition to Dexter: Original Sin is Amanda Brooks.
Amanda Brooks has taken on a recurring role in the highly anticipated prequel of Dexter, which is currently in production in Los Angeles and it is set in 1991 Miami.
As reported exclusively by Deadline, Brooks will play Becca Spencer, the ex-wife of Captain Aaron Spencer (portrayed by Patrick Dempsey), with whom she shares custody of their son, Nicky. Dexter finds comfort and understanding in his father, particularly as his growing bloodthirsty impulses become impossible to ignore.
The prequel features a stellar cast, including Molly Brown as Deb Morgan, James Martinez as Angel Batista, Christina Milian as Maria LaGuerta, Alex Shimizu as Vince Masuka, Patrick Dempsey as Aaron Spencer, and Reno Wilson as Bobby Watt. Special guest star Sarah Michelle Gellar appears as Tanya Martin.
