Five stills, four Dexter: Original Sin Season 1 episodes.
Last Thursday, Showtime gave fans a first official look at Dexter: Original Sin by releasing five images. These photos showcase younger versions of the Morgan family—Harry, Dexter, and Deb—portrayed by Christian Slater, Patrick Gibson, and Molly Brown, respectively.
What you might not know is that all but two of the images are from different episodes of Season 1. One of the images belongs to the eighth episode of Dexter: Original Sin, an episode that hasn't even begun production in Los Angeles. How is that possible, you might wonder?

Episode 101 "Original Sin" still:
One image is from a scene in the pilot episode featuring Christian Slater as Harry Morgan (Patrick Wymore/Paramount+ with Showtime).
Episode 102 "Kid in a Candy Store" still:
In this scene from the second episode, Dexter Morgan, played by Patrick Gibson, is having a conversation with his father Harry in the kitchen of their house (Myrna Suarez/Paramount+ with Showtime).

These two images from the third episode seem to be from the same scene. The first image shows Dexter ready to take action, while the second depicts a man wrapped in plastic—Dexter's second victim. This suggests that in Dexter: Original Sin, our favorite serial killer will commit his very first human kill, Nurse Mary, in episode 101 or 102.
Nurse Mary is an "Angel of Death" serial killer nurse who worked at the hospital where Harry Morgan was treated for heart problems. In the original series, we see a flashback of Dexter killing her in episode 5 of Season 1, titled "Popping Cherry."
Episode 108 "Business and Pleasure" still:
Interestingly, here's an image from an episode that hasn't officially started filming yet. Technically, some scenes from episode 108 were filmed in Miami in early June 2024. For those who don't know, the Dexter: Original Sin cast and crew were in Miami for ten days in June to shoot various exterior scenes. In the still from this episode, we see teenage Deb Morgan, played by Molly Brown, smiling at what seems like a bar (Myrna Suarez/Paramount+ with Showtime).
