    1. I hope it is something different. I hope Dexter is finally going to kill his useless and annoying "sister". Death of his brother was huge mistake. Dexter with Brian would bring much more fun

  2. Deb and Dexter will start developing a more deep "Chemistry." just my guess :p

  5. Although I want the title to refer to Deb and Dexter, I have a feeling that it might refer to Dexter and Hannah for some reason.

  7. I don't think it refers to anyones feelings.

If someone spoils the new Batman movie before I see it I will find you.

  8. I think we will have a Breaking Bad crossover. Dex, Deb, Jesse, and Heissenberg will cook meth (with the help of Walt's CHEMISTRY knowledge, obviously) and then kill people.

  9. They are really dangling stuff at the audience with these episode titles this year.

"Are You..." "Buck the System" "Run" "Swim Deep" "Do The Wrong Thing" "Chemistry" what was the other? Funny!

I don't mind being played and teased, just as long as I get a little satisfaction in the end...

  10. I also think this is about Dexter and Hannah.

  11. How DEXTER has done things in the past, the word "chemistry" will probably act as a theme for the episode. So the title is likely making reference to a number of characters and situations.

    1. I forgot to mention the picture on top...I hope like hell that is new and that Dexter gets to do work inside the blood room again. Those scenes are always great and we haven't had one (with Dexter) since season 4.

    2. It's an old pic.

    3. Yeah, I just realized it was from season 3. Still, I hope we get to see Dexter in the blood room this season.

  13. Screw that fan girl Dex Deb Hannah chemistry shit, I think it's chemistry that will tighten the noose around our friendly neighborhood vigilante.

  14. This is probably when they're gonna tackle Deb/Dex relationship awkwardness! Excited!

    1. I agree with Anon 1:40am I think this is where they start getting into the Chemistry with Deb and Dex because Deb is going to realize that the weird chemistry is still there between them and as someon said before, you can't just decide to stop loving someone just like that.

    2. Jennifer said "stabbing someone trumps those feelings" which means that they are going to drop the bro/sis romance cuz it's icky icky and makes people say thirteen year old girl things like "eeeew" and Showtime does not want to offend the moral majority of Dexter fans!

Also, remember that the actors and writers on this show never deceive us when they drop an obvious spoiler like that.

Did I get through all of that with a straight face?

  15. There is no chemistry between Dex and Hannah (Dex falling in love with a killer - why not just bring Lumen back?).

The title either means that Deb accepts she is still in love with Dexter (I doubt it will take her half the season to come to that conclusion) or that Dex realizes he is in love with Deb.

  16. Some of you, with respect, simply have no idea.Lumen was not a killer, merely someone who joined Dexter on a revenge mission. We have already been told that Hannah is a real killer, and bearing in mind that Hannah is cast for seasons 7 & 8,it is obvious that this episode will be the start of some kind of relationship wbetween them.
Forget dexter and Deb, this will never happen. You can all acknowledge my genius later!!

    1. Lumen shot Dan Mendell, killed Alex Tilden, killed Jordan Chase...

As far as we know, Hannah wasn't some cold-blooded, leaving-no-evidence-behind serial killer like Dexter, Brian or Trinity. She was a 15-year old girl who went on a killing spree with her boyfriend (reminds me of that Criminal Minds episode).

  17. PS.Hannah is to have a significant role in what happens in Series 8-make of that what you will?

In any event Yvonne Strahovski is a fantastic actress,so enjoy!!

    1. How do you know she has a significant role in season 8? She may only appear in the first few episodes. At the end of the day this show is about Dexter and Deb not some character called Hannah who turns up near the end of the series. Dexter and Deb will clearly be the focus of the final season. You can take that to the bank.

ow this is a " sweet show "i will cry and like a crazy of a brother and sister become sexual,,cause is very dirty to me
    ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  19. First Rita gets killed, then Lumen leaves after one season, and now the Deb-in-love-with-Dex storyline is dropped before it even started for some new girl? I hope not.

    1. Im with you on this one. It makes no sense to bring in a new love interest for Dexter at this critical point in the show with only two seasons left. If Dexter is not with Deb then I would prefer him to be alone.

  20. In every sigle season Dex had sex with a blonde woman and in some seasons (only one, so far) also with a brunette woman.

That means he will definitely have sex with Hannah, and maybe with Deb, too.

  21. The optimistic in me says that the show will remain artistically true and the writers will follow their threads.

The pessimist in me says that network CEO's get involved and make "notes" which will tell them to play around with the Dex/Deb thing and make it a bit storyline and turn it into a love triangle, but never fully consummate it - their reasoning would be that this would satisfy the entire fanbase. Of course, instead of doing that it would only piss off and alienate BOTH sides of the debate, but that is typically what happens when suits get involved in creative decisions.

I am choosing optimism, which means I am probably a fool, but what can you do?

  25. Do you want to know the real meaning? Read no further if not.. The chemistry reference will actually have TWO meanings.. One being the obvious love story that will form between Dex and Deb, but the second less obvious meaning will be about Masuka doing what he does best and finding evidence leading toward busting Deb and Dexter from the fire they light at the church to burn Travis.
