...
UPDATED 6/26: *The photo has been removed*
Detective Mike Anderson's photo is between the victims of the new case, which in all probability means that he got killed.
What do YOU think? Comment!
WHO the hell let this happen? WTF how did some fans get to go on the set and take pictures
ReplyDeleteFuck sake if this is for real. He was one of he better things of season 6. This night can't get any worse. Oh wait never mind Men in Black 2 is on tv....
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but MiB 2 is a very good movie mister, sincerely thas Turles
Deleteim sorry but MiB 2 is trash
DeleteHOLY SHIT!!
ReplyDeleteomg omg! can't wait. poor chicago mike...
ReplyDeleteHe got a role on SOA kinda fig he was gone
ReplyDeletehe's gonna be on sons of anarchy? awesome!
Deletehe's gonna be on sons of anarchy? awesome!
DeleteWell that's why Billy Brown took recurring role on Sons of Anarchy Season 3... thanks for this!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like OJ Simpson to me...
ReplyDeletehe could just be the suspect who did all this (ala Doakes again)
ReplyDeleteCan't you see that it says "Murder victim" at the right corner of his picture?
Deletelol no i dont know how you can make out those words... I see the words "detective mike anderson" I also think i am going to stop reading spoilers

Lol!
DeleteIt is obvious that your photo Pastapwr is photoshoped.
DeleteIt ain't photoshopped. Just the orignial.
DeleteHahaha. I give you a +1 for effort.
DeleteYou don't want Mike to die, right? i dont mind that much as long as he dies on the hands of the right person. :P just kidding. also, i hate stupid kids going around on sets taking pictures and posting them on the internet, all proud and shit. plague of fools.
Deletewhat effort?
DeleteNo I don't want him to die but it is what it is I guess. I'd prefer if they killed someone who would have a greater impact. After the episode noone will care anyway. If it was Laguerta I'd be doing backflips for weeks.
DeleteOn topic. A cop killer if that's what this is might be a good idea. It could make it a little bit easier for Deb to accept who Dexter is and what he does. Not saying she'll be fine with it right away but as a part of the build up to the inevitable.
ReplyDeleteIt's not really a big spoiler. We knew he was leaving...
ReplyDeleteAt least they acknowledged his existence, unlike Sonya who was just dropped without a single word in season six.
ReplyDeleteThey really didn't do enough with his character.
ReplyDeleteHey, maybe he's just been shot/attacked. TV Line/Deadline reported that Billy Brown will continue on Dexter and they're a reliable source
ReplyDelete"Billy Brown has nabbed a major role on the upcoming season of "Sons of Anarchy". Per Deadline, he’ll play the right-hand man to Harold Perrineau’s Big Bad Damon Pope. Meanwhile, TVLine has confirmed that Brown will also continue with Dexter next season (premiering Sept. 30) as Miami Metro’s new straight-laced cop, Mike Anderson."

The information around him is geographical and lacks any image of his corpse. This all implies they're tracking him. He may not actually be dead. This means he's either missing/kidnapped (possibly a raid gone wrong), or he's a suspect in the crimes shown. I'm leaning more towards the former, unless the writers are just trying to destroy Deb's psyche this season by having her grilled over hiring a mafia assoicate. Laguerta would love it. Anyway, I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteI already have a theory that the sydnicate will easily figure out it's Dex who killed the "associate" via security footage at the strip bar. They'll reconize his stalking behavior. Rather than kill him, they'll see how efficient he is and force him to work for them. They'd use coercive tactics such as taking out someone close to him, but who he wouldn't really care about - someone like Mike. If they can get to Mike, really they can get to anyone. Dex can't say no, or turn on them without putting more people at risk. It satiates his DP and The Code since the people a syndicate would take out are more likely than not to be worthy of The Code. Plus, we get to see Dex evolve a bit, finally having people he can relate to and be open with - no need for the facade. It also puts him in the role of assassin, not killing completely for his own desires anymore.
Of course. Dexter was clever enough to evade the police for decades, even the FBI couldn't hunt him down, and know some mobsters find out who he is?

ReplyDeleteI have one dolla say Dexter will not go to work as an assassin for the mob.
This is, not, of course, based on any preconceived idea's about what the show is, or that I have a handbook on scriptwriting on my shelf that says "WTF!!! Don't go there!" to idea's like that.
It's just my special ESP power. Which also tells me (Hold on, adjusting my wheely beanie and consulting the crystals) - Neither will Dexter become a contract killer for the CIA, nor will he join a group of dangerous mercenaries and go to war in the Sudan!
If this all comes true, - just call me "The Swami"!

On the right board, it says "victim" above the pictures of the woman and "suspect" above the picture of the man.
ReplyDeleteMike's picture is just labeled "Detective Mike Anderson". So obviously he's neither a suspect nor a victim. He's just Mike.
Shows with short seasons like these two can allow an actor to double up. I'm not sure I'm buying it yet.
ReplyDeleteI also thought that we cant tell he's a victim by this pic. we can assume he is, but this picture is not enough to make us sure of it. its not clear why his picture is up there.
ReplyDeleteObviously he is a victim. It has crime scene photos next to his face. And why would they put a photo of him if he wasnt dead? They know who mike anderson is. And also, if he was missing, why would they have a crime scene with evidence markers.
ReplyDeleteSara Colleton pretty much confirms that Mike dies in the TV Guide interview. She doesn't say his name, but she says that a Miami cop is killed by a lieutenant in the russian mafia and the lieutenant goes missing afterwards.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, sadly. Single tear..
DeleteYep. She does confirm it. Shame. I thought if they killed anyone, it'd be Quinn - who'd at least give some of the audience more emotional ties to. Mike is new and funny he was a better cop than him 2 episodes into the show. And more interesting.
ReplyDeleteLaGuerta will find out that the BHB is still out there. Maybe she will talk to Quinn, who then tells her about Dexter: He thinks that Dex is Kyle Butler, he knows Dex and Lumen have been hiding something, he is very sure that Dex killed Liddy.
DeletePut this together with LaGuerta remembering Doakes suspecting Dex and Doakes having an alibi for some of the BHB killings and you get:
The two most annoying characters investigating Dex on their own... hopefully Dex bought enough tape ;)
tht is true (to the person who commented under joe. But Quinn cant say a damn thing bout Dexter killing Liddy bc Dexter saved his ass from the bloodwork...So if it wasnt for Dexter, Quinn wud be in prison for life or on death row.
