  5. That was truly an amazing episode... was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I did see the Gellar as dead coming but the rest of the episode truly made up for that. I too hope that nothing bad happens to Harrison! He is clearly is so important to dexter!

  6. Last week's episode was the best of the season...until this week. Loved. it.

  7. Why do people think something bad will happen to Harrison? I may have missed something...

  8. I don't know what people think anymore. So I can't answer about Harrison. I read one review on a website where reviewer claimed that she never saw the Gellar thing coming.

"I was completely in shock" she tells us. "What an amazing twist!"

Meanwhile she was going on and on about how much she hates Deb.

I swear, some people are as sharp as a beach ball. Either than or they are watching a completely different version of Dexter in an alternate universe...

  9. I highly doubt the writers will kill off a toddler so I think Harrison is safe.

I hope that Captain Matthews loses his job and takes LaGuerta down with him. Those characters don't bring anything new to the story anymore; best get rid of them now instead of dragging them on through two more seasons.

Someone didn't see the Gellar thing coming? Jeebus!

I'm liking Deb more this season, she's finally seeking help which is adding more depth to her character and how she interacts with Dexter.

  10. Yea Deb is just getting stronger. I mean early on she was great comic relief, but now I totally love her as much as Dexter, maybe even more.

I could see Matthews going off the rails with LaGuerta, and trying to come after Deb. Wouldn't it be crazy if Matthews whacks the hooker, and then kills Maria, and then goes after Deb and winds up on Dexter's table, and that's how Deb finds out?

Now that would be crazy and shocking!

  12. This ending of this episode makes absolutely no sense. I can't understand why everyone likes it so much... The speculation as to Travis's character and portrayal of his character in the preview for the next episode is completely inconsistent with everything we've seen of him up to now. I'm interested in how this is going to be reconciled. Or maybe it won't... That would be a disappointment.

  13. Who was the other voice heard by the girl ddk released?

  14. so im thinking either Travis' Gellar persona fully take over his personality at times... and makes him talk and act differently like edward nortan in primal fear... or there is still someone behind the scenes... cause i cant see why hed let a girl go then go kill his own sister... not to mention there has been numerous mentions of 2 people... 2 slice marks on one of the bodies... the chick who was released said she heard 2 voices.. and im sure theres more i cant think of... anyway just a theory... guess ill have to wait and see

  15. P.s just an extra thought to what i said a second ago... maybe the other professor(porter) is behind the scenes... i remember the chick who got released said travis always called the other person professor... not to mention she had Gellars book in her possession and had an assorted history with him...

  17. It's simple.... did you saw anytime "Psycho" ??? This is Travis... :-) >(Except for the transvestide side, of course...)

  18. When Dexter broke his chain off and then Travis slip it off his hand.I thought that there was a error in the show. Now l know why "very clever".

  19. I thought the episode was OK. Deb's therapy sessions were actually pretty good and the Batista/Quinn stuff was funny. But the main plot? Not much of a surprise.

  20. Dexter was always a great show and season 6 is a great season, it would probablye be the greatest. But this all Travis/Gellar multiple schizophrenic psychotic personality thing was kind of a let down.Don't get me wrong.I like these kinds of scenarios. They are the best. The kind that all the movie you thought you know everything and at the end of the movie you got a twist that says nothing was real and all the characters and the world itself was a some mental patient imagination. But they kind of blew it in Dexter.Because there were these little clues that most of the fans picked up along the season and it was really obvious, which is why I am a little bit disappointed.Since the third of the fourth episode there were fans(including myself) who thought about the possibility of Travis having a split personality. And this fact spoiled it, because it was obvious, thus expected. When you do this kind of twist you don't let clues along the way so that the fans can realize before the big revelation.Or even if you let some clues, you only let one or two and those clues must be very hard to pick up.Like next to impossible.I still love it, though. It's still brilliant and all, but they should have kept it more discreet rather than next to painfully obvious.Sorry for all those fans who disagree with me.This is just my opinion. So, please, don't freak out about it.

  21. The clues were all there with Geller but I think the show did a pretty good job of drawing the viewer's attention away from that truth. My wife figured it out one episode early and it totally made sense. Great story telling. As an amateur voice actor, I know several people that can make it sound like there are two distinctly different people in a room so the girl's account is totally understandable.

  22. Loved the episode, it was awesome! Its great to see how everything is building up for the finale! The Gellar twist wasnt so much of a shocker for me. It was more like: Wow you are dead, I agree the writers (at least for me) did a great job. I saw the clues but then I wasnt conviced cause there was the girl who heard 2 voices and ppl calling in that they sighted Gellar. So idk if the writers wanted us to go back in forward in guessing if Gellar was dead or not. Its brillant. But the twist for me (if it was one) was Louis! What is he doing with the hand? I can not wait!

Anonymous 7:07- You also could add 'Fight Club' *SPOILER* with Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. Eddie would black out then Tyler would take over and Ed wouldnt remember anything! Great movie!

  23. Maybe gellar was alive until he killed Travis' sister...

  24. I thought I'd have a heart attack LOL (Joke, but really my heart was beating faster in the end... and I have to say I did't expect THAT!)

  25. People say they saw the gellar being dead thing coming. How? How could you possibly have known that? EXPLAIN!

    Easy.

#1 Gellar was always advising, just like Dexter's dad.

#2 Nobody ever responded or interacted with Gellar in ANY scene except for Travis. I mean not once did a waitress or any person even talk to Gellar face to face.

#3 Nebraska, the straw that broke the camels back. The scene where Brian stabs the hotel clerk, then we see Dexter doing it, was MEANT to inform the audience that a character could IMAGINE someone else doing a murder that he was in fact doing. That was where the writers really tried to cement it for the audience so that we knew what Dexter did not. Kinda like the scene from season one where the people who had not clued in to who Rudy really was, saw him answering Dexter's ad.

  27. Have a question, hope that somebody could answer me..

How is it possible that Travis hat that time to kill that professor guy before he catched again Dexter in the elevator????

do you think he had help from somebody??

  28. I personally didnt see Gellar and Travis as the same person, and only recently read other's theories on them being one and the same, so I really liked this episode.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I personally think that Travis has schizophrenia...

This is my theory, It seems that Travis blacksout and doesnt remember what he does. So being in the hotel, alone, he must of slipped out and gotten Prof Trent before he was there with Dexter. Or maybe he does have help and the mystery person is using Travis since he is nuts. IDK but we'll find out in 4 days! :)
