A new clip featuring a scene from Dexter: Resurrection has just been released.
We’re just two weeks away from Dexter Morgan’s highly anticipated return to television, and excitement is reaching a fever pitch. Set against the backdrop of New York City, Dexter: Resurrection promises a fresh chapter filled with mystery, suspense, and the same dark charm that made the series a cult favorite.
This week has already been packed with exciting content drops, and today’s update is no exception. An all-new sneak peek clip from the upcoming series has just been released—offering fans a tantalizing glimpse at what lies ahead for Dexter and his teenage son, Harrison.
Spoiler Alert: Minor plot details ahead!
The clip, which originally aired moments before Michael C. Hall’s appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, features a key scene set in a hotel room in the heart of the Big Apple. Based on clues, the location appears to be the iconic Empire Hotel, where Harrison is reportedly working after vanishing from Iron Lake.
In this tense scene, Dexter, accompanied by the ever-present voice of Harry, investigates a grisly crime that appears to have taken place in the room. The twist? There’s no evidence to be found—no blood, no trace. Dexter suspects Harrison may be involved, and he's both alarmed and impressed by the cleanliness of the scene.
It’s written all over Dexter’s face—he’s clearly proud of Harrison, who’s proving to be a remarkably tidy little monster for someone who’s only 16. Meanwhile, Harry, ever the voice of reason, is there to keep Dexter’s emotions in check and bring him back down to earth.
Our research confirms that this clip is from Episode 2, titled “Camera Shy”, which will air alongside the series premiere on July 11.
