This past Saturday, Dexter: Resurrection made its thrilling debut at Comic Con Experience Mexico (CCXP MX) during an unforgettable event that served as the official launchpad for the highly anticipated sequel series. Held at Centro Banamex in the heart of Mexico City, the panel drew thousands of enthusiastic fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars and get the first real taste of what’s to come.
Headlining the event were Dexter veterans Michael C. Hall, David Zayas, writer and executive producer Scott Reynolds, and series showrunner Clyde Phillips. The cast and crew appeared in not one, but two back-to-back panels—continuing CCXP’s beloved tradition of deep fan engagement. Despite some fans hoping for more detailed updates from the panelists, the excitement skyrocketed with the debut of the official Dexter: Resurrection trailer and the first official key art, both of which sent a buzz through the convention crowd.
Although both panels took place on the Thunder Stage in front of an estimated 3,000 fans, no full video of the panels has surfaced online—not even fan recordings, which is unusual for an event of this size. This has left many fans around the world eagerly waiting for any official uploads or footage. If and when that changes, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
In addition to the panels, the cast participated in exclusive behind-the-scenes promotional moments organized by Paramount+. At a special branded activation inside the convention center, fans found a large Paramount+ display featuring the company’s iconic mountain goat logo. Nearby, a snowboard adorned with Dexter: Resurrection stickers added a playful touch to the setup. Naturally, the cast didn’t miss the opportunity to snap some photos in front of the display—and you can check out those shots below!
With Dexter: Resurrection premiering on July 11 on Paramount+, the countdown has officially begun. Stay tuned for more updates, photos, and behind-the-scenes moments as we get closer to the return of America’s favorite antihero.
